A stay at The Residence at Cooinda Retreats is about space, connection, and time together in a peaceful natural setting.

The Residence is a fully renovated, self-contained bunkhouse style accommodation designed specifically for small groups who want to stay together without being squeezed into a standard holiday house. It comfortably sleeps up to 20 guests, with two bunk rooms accommodating 18 people and a separate private bedroom with a queen size bed for two.

Inside, the Residence offers generous shared living spaces. There is a large lounge and meeting area with comfortable seating, a TV, dining tables, high stools and plenty of room for meals, meetings, games or quiet downtime. Air conditioning is provided throughout the building, making it comfortable year round.

The full kitchen is well equipped for group stays and includes a cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, ample bench space and storage. A laundry is also available within the Residence, along with a bathroom and toilet. For larger groups, guests may also choose to use additional shared bathroom amenities located across the wider Cooinda Retreats site.

While the Residence is fully functional on its own, what makes a stay here special is that it sits within the broader Cooinda Retreats grounds. Guests have access to extensive gardens, open lawns, restored communal buildings and outdoor areas that invite walking, gathering, sitting under trees, watching sunsets, and enjoying the surrounding countryside and coastal outlooks.

Please note that linen is not provided. Guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, blankets or sleeping bags, as well as towels.
