tatty hotel, rather noisy, with average food

Our experience at this hotel was poor, partly at least because Expedia incorrectly advertised what was available at the hotel and, when we arrived, the hotel didn't have the facility we had booked. Both the hotel and Expedia were extremely unhelpful about this and we ended up having to pay twice as much by booking a second room. The hotel is really like a British 'motel'. It is in need of refurbishment - showers and TVs don't work properly, the swimming pool is freezing cold- and the food on offer is adequate but boring.. Hotel Falken is clearly part of a larger Danish chain. It is very conveniently situated close to the Herning conference centre (15 mins by car) in a very pleasant small town/large village. Don't expect any kind of luxury ( even the shampoo provided is awful) but you can expect basic accommodation and at least the beds are comfy!

Vi valgte at bestille en lejlighed a 80 m2. Vi forventede at der var et lille køkken, hvor man så kunne lave noget mad, i det mindste, en elkedel/kaffemaskine til at lave kaffe/the; men INTET. ikke engang nogle glas til vand i lejligheden :o( Da vi så skulle rejse mandag morgen, og gik over for at få morgenmad kl. lidt i 7, var der låst. Det var der også kl. 7:30 :o( Morgenmaden står til at starte kl. 6:30 :(
