Very central location, large rooms , exceptionally friendly staff, the on site restaurant was excellent, and many other dining options nearby. Subway/ metro right outside your door. Book it!

We especially liked the location of the Graben Hotel. It was directly in the historic district, so it easy to the attractions we liked. The rooms were adequately sized, clean with all of he amenities we needed. The staff was extremely helpful. One staff member even walked us to a location because he realized it was a complicated route to get there.

We stayed at The Graben Hotel for 3 nights in April and we had a really good stay and would highly recommend. We were able to check in early as our room was available. The hotel is really conveniently located right in the centre of Vienna which made it walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit and meant we could go back during the day. The staff were very helpful with advice and information for travelling around the city using public transport. We had breakfast included for our stay which made things much easier for us and there was a good choice of food available. The hotel also has an Italian restaurant which we ate at on the first night and the food was really good and the staff were very friendly.

The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an excellent restaurant in which a buffet breakfast was available. We stayed 8 nights 3 in a small room on 5th floor and 5 in a larger brighter room on 2nd floor. Both were clean and acceptable but the larger room with high ceilings was far preferable.

Nice hotel in a great location!

Great location!!!!! right in the heart of the city with walking distance to many tourist attractions. Super friendly reception! The room is rather small but the setup is very good and we managed to unload our suitcases. The hotel is quiet and very well maintained. there are a few restaurants in the same street. Try Buffet Trzesniewski - a selection of small sandwiches with a glass of something (beer, sekt, wine, or vodka)!

I chose the hotel for the proximity to city center. Perfectly comfortable room. Good restaurant and service. I aproached reception twice bec ause of cigarette smell in my room. They insisted that there is no smoking anywhere in the building, alas, especially in the evenings the bathroom and the hall way smelled strongly. I had to keep the windows open.
