When someone is checking in, the space in the lobby becomes extremely limited: a bottleneck forms all the way to the entrance door, leaving virtually no room available, not even to sit down. The rooms are small but clean, new, and well organized. Overall, the hotel feels designed mainly for the summer season, as the common areas advertised—such as the garden and the rooftop—are not available in winter, and when the hotel is full, the remaining shared spaces are very limited.

The stay overall was great. The reception area was always attentive. The room with the city view was gorgeous. They left me a Birthday welcome. The area was very convenient to take the tram or metro to other areas. I would stay here again.

The hotel was fine but I don’t think was really aligned with how high the ratings were. There is not really a front desk with a concierge so we were not able to order things to our room. And I didn’t realise the rooftop bar was only open air so closed during the winter months, and the rooftop bar seemed to be a big selling point for travellers to booth the hotel. The room was good but again, the hotel is nothing special.

Breakfast was vegetarian though you could preorder some clod meats at check in though this wasn’t offered to us. Room was clean and compact. Could use a little art. Had a garden view so quiet. Close to metro to get into centre. Some facilities around but more of a locals area. For the money it did the job well. Very good bathroom.

Mooons Vienna was ideal for our family trip. Chosen for location and quality of room, it was great. Really comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Loved the hotel bar and the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. We only chose breakfast on the last day, excellent choices. (No nut allergy info on the food which was a bit of an issue but otherwise all good). Would recommend this hotel and stay again if visiting Vienna.

The room was amazing, some of the best views we have ever had in a hotel, was absolutely spotless and had great amenities. You can opt out of having the room cleaned each day in return for drinks vouchers at the bar, which we chose to do, but even then they make your bed and fill your amenities each day. The bar in the hotel is also great, with a relaxed vibe and a great range of drinks; including cocktails. If you’re looking for modern luxury in the heart of Vienna, with great views, immaculate rooms and well within reach of all the best things to do in Vienna - this is the place for you. We will be back !!!

Toom very small and warm air con not working moved rooms it wasnt much better there. Hanging space in wardrobe was terrible as was the height of it. The only ate you could sit to get ready had coat hangers all over the dresser area one if the worst room designs ive seen. Maid service at 8am like a demolition crew. 4 bottles if water cost 23 euro. Transport from hotel great so that was the consolation. Way overpticed for what it is. Think the city views probably draw ppl in
