Our stay at Le Val de Lys was amazing. Muriel welcomed us into the house and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was exactly how it was described. It is close enough to a lot of activities (Guadeloupe isn't that big). If you are planning to visit Basse-Terre, I highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful tropic getaway

Murielle était une hôte formidable. Elle entretient une belle propriété et est si gentille et partage son temps et son attention. La maison est très confortable, avec une belle piscine et dans l'ensemble, c'est une expérience formidable.

Hidden Gem on Basse-Terre Island

Muirelle's home was warm and inviting, it was also fresh and familiar with every amenity necessary. Muirelle and her wonderful family made sure we had everything we needed and they were very hospitable. The location of the house is also perfect for exploring Basse-Terre island. Situated close to Baillif commune, we had access to dining and grocery shopping, the entire coast (drive up to Grande Anse!), hiking at the volcano, waterfalls, and the botanical gardens. Would easily come back again!

Notre hote très accueillante.la maison est très bien situé. Très agréable avec la piscine individuelle,sans vis à vis et une autre piscine plus grande et un jacuzzi partagée mais nous étions toujours tous seuls. Maison spacieux et bien équipée. Très bon séjour.

Semaine de rêve

Nous avons adoré notre semaine dans la maison de Murielle. La villa est spacieuse, très bien pensée et parfaitement équipée, propre et la literie est excellente. Le coin extérieur est particulièrement agréable (terrasse à l'ombre, piscine partagée avec un studio également loué par Murielle, jacuzzi privatif). Le jardin est très joliment arboré et la vue mer est superbe. L'emplacement est parfait pour sillonner sur la Basse Terre. Murielle est une hôte accueillante, très sympathique, de bons conseils tout en restant discrète. Nous avons eu la chance de partager un apéritif chez elle et avons apprécié ce moment de partage et d'échanges (mention spéciale aux accras, jus de Bissap et liqueur au basilic anisé !) Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet hébergement et nous n'hésiterons pas à le relouer lors de notre prochain voyage en Guadeloupe.

Un excellent sejour !!

Nous avons passé en famille une tres belle semaine chez Murielle. La maison est tres joliment décorée, moderne et bien equipee. La qualite de la literie et la clim dans les chambres sont un vrai plus. Mon fils a bien profite de la piscine. La maison est tres bien située à Vieux habitants, joli village central, avec beaucoup de restos. Enfin, merci à Murielle pour son accueil chaleureux et ses petites attentions.

Accueil très chaleureux et maison parfaite pour découvrir Basse-Terre et les randonnées autour de la soufrière ! Jus de fruits frais faits-maison pour notre arrivée! Accras pour notre départ! Un régal!! Maison confortable et spacieuse avec 2 belles salle de bains. Quel accueil, quel famille extraordinaire, quelle maison fantastique. Que dire de plus? Nous avons rarement été aussi bien reçus, Murielle et sa famille sont des hôtes exceptionnels qui nous ont reçu dans les meilleures conditions. La maison est bien équipée et propre, la piscine et le jacuzzi sont les bienvenus en fin de journée après les excursions pour découvrir Basse-Terre. Fantastique !

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances reposantes, dépaysantes et ressourçantes ! La maison est très fonctionnelle, les équipements neufs, le spa et la piscine sont très appréciables après les excursions. La maison est idéalement placée entre mer et montagne et à proximité de Basse-Terre. Et que dire de l’accueil remarquable de Murielle qui nous régale de ses merveilles du jardin et de ses petits plats locaux ! La prestation est top ! Très bon séjour à Vieux-Habitants

Nous avons séjourné 3 semaines en août avec nos 2 enfants dans cette charmante maisonnette très propre et aménagée avec goût. De nombreux rangements sont prévus. Il y a 2 immenses salles de bain toujours alimentées en eau chaude grâce au chauffe-eau solaire sur le toit. La cuisine équipée, le lave-vaisselle et le lave-linge sont très utiles lors des longs séjours. La climatisation dans les chambres est très appréciable. Notre séjour ayant eu lieu en période particulièrement chaude, nous avons un peu souffert de la chaleur dans le séjour malgré le ventilateur. Mais nous avons pu nous rafraîchir à notre aise dans la piscine avec portail sécurisé (point très important pour nous). Le petit plus de la maison est le jacuzzi extérieur qui assure une détente bien méritée en fin de journée. Mais le plus important de tout est l'immense gentillesse et la disponibilité de Muriel et son mari qui ne se départissent pas de leur sourire et de leur bonne humeur et qui s'enquièrent de savoir si tout se passe bien, nous accueillent avec une belle corbeille de fruits succulents et tout le nécessaire pour le petit-déjeuner du lendemain de notre arrivée, nous donnent des mangues par-ci, des avocats par-là et nous apportent des acras confectionnés par Muriel. Et j'en passe certainement. Merci pour ce beau séjour que nous n'oublieront pas.

Très bon souvenir malgré le confinement Covid

L'emplacement est superbe. Belle vue sur la mer et magnifiques couchers de soleil en face. On a même vue le rayon vert :-). Maison spacieuse, piscine solarium et jacuzzi nous ont permis, avec la gentillesse de Muriel, de supporter le confinement Covid qui venait de se mettre en place à notre arrivée à Basse-Terre. Merci à Muriel pour ces petits cadeaux : acras de morue, gratin de papaye, bananes vertes, noix de coco et mangues de ces arbres au gouts exceptionnels.
