Exceptionally Clean

Our hosts Winny and Paula were really friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect for our needs as it was very clean and exceptionally well maintained both inside and out. It is well located beside some beautiful beaches and a short drive from amenities. We would love to stay again. Thank you to our hosts.

A Relaxing Oasis

This is a rural property a couple of miles from the nearest small town, which is Burgau. The bungalow has 2 units, and we were in one that accommodates 4-5 guests, but we were a couple. This made the space seem very large. The kitchen was well appointed, and you could cook every meal if you wanted to do that. A good sized grocery store is only 5 minutes away in Budens. The star of the property is the pool, which is beautiful and wonderfully maintained, with lounge chairs surrounding. It was very refreshing at the end of the warm day. There is a dining table outside as well as inside, and we enjoyed talking and eating outside on the patio overlooking the pool. The only thing that would have helped us are detailed directions about how to reach this property. These were not provided and caused us some confusion and distress before we finally found it. However, the hosts were wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Holiday review

A nice property although lacking modern amenities e.g. air-conditioning. It was advertised as sole occupation but that is incorrect : there were at least one other couple staying in the next apartment. We can't re-book for next year due to this. The beds were advertised as super kingsize : they most certainly were not!! BUT - the owners were delightful and friendls (they also lived onsite which we didn't realise); and made us extremely welcome.

A Perfect Gem in the Algarve!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Casa Lorraine. It was perfect having accommodations between Lagos & Sagres and the pool was an additional bonus. The apartment was immaculate and had everything and more to make us feel comfortable and at home. Lovely accommodation, comfortable and very clean in a rural setting

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the bungalow. The accommodation was extremely clean and bright - the pictures don't do it justice. Very well equipped and towels were changed half way though our stay. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. We had a great time but, the description of the accommodation is slightly misleading. We were not aware that the property is one of 3 adjoining apartments with the owners living in one. While the owners are lovely, we did feel a little bit like we were sharing their house! Additionally, the description boasts air conditioning when there is none and a washing machine, when actually the owners will do your washing for you but charge €10 - which is fine if you're aware before you go. The property is in an extremely quiet part of Burgau so if you're looking for peace and quiet, it's ideal. Just as long as you're not next to rowdy neighbours joined on .

Endroit très agréable, au calme et logement bien équipé

Hôtes très agréables. La maison est divisée en 3 parties (une partie habitée par les propriétaires, et deux destinées aux locations) et aménagée avec goût et de manière à préserver l'intimité de chacun. Bel extérieur et literie confortable. On recommande !

Große saubere Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist gut und groß und sehr sauber. Herzstück des Anwesen ist der Pool. Leider steht im Onlineauftritt 5 Gehminuten bis zu einem Restaurant in Burgau nicht Fahrminuten sondern Gehminuten und auch die Position auf der Karte die angezeigt wird ist nicht Ok. Das Anwesen liegt nicht in Burgau sondern außerhalb, das finde ich ist schon wichtig zu wissen. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett, aber man hat leider nicht viel Privatsphäre.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Traumurlaub an der Algarve

Mega tolles Feriendomizil

Wir waren nach unserer Wanderung auf dem Fischerweg da… und fanden ein super gepflegtes und umfassend eingerichtetes Appartement vor. Einige Vorzüge: Traumhafter und gepflegter Garten mit vielen Palmen und einem großen Pool. Großer Grill mit gemütlicher Essecke im Garten. Super sauberes Innenleben mit Küche, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Sehr persönliche Betreuung, die Eigentümer - Winfried aus Deutschland und Paula aus Portugal - wohnen auch da, sind ständig ansprechbar, sehr gastfreundlich, Paula wäscht sogar die Wäsche! Wir fühlten uns wie persönliche Freunde, nicht wie nach einer Urlaubsbuchung. Dennoch war jede gewünschte Intimität/Distanz durch die Gastgeber gewährleistet. Ca. 5 Autominuten sind es zum sehr ursprünglich-lokalen Strand von Burgau mit entspanntem Flair und netten Lokalen, ca. 15 min zum sympathischen Algarve-Städtchen Lagos (sehr angenehm - kein Massentourismus). Mietauto ist erforderlich. Es gibt wohl viele Stammgäste, was sehr gut vorstellbar ist - auch wir überlegen wiederzukommen! Vielen Dank, Winfried & Paula, für die wunderbaren Urlaubstage bei euch!

Formidable !

Appartement spacieux, accès facile, très propre, clôturé, bien équipé, aussi beau que sur les photos ! Bonne literie, calme, piscine eau salée et terrasse en retrait formidables ! Paula et Winfried sont aux petits soins: nettoyage quotidien de la terrasse, changement linge de lit et de toilette à mi-séjour, et echanges très agréables même si notre anglais doit vraiment s'améliorer ! Petits bémols sur l'accès à pied de la côte et l'accès non libre à la machine à laver mais Paula s'occupe de tout ! Bien situé pour visiter la région ! Pas d'hésitation pour y passer d'excellentes vacances !
