Lovely Villa!A welcoming first impression with the glistening pool and sound of the water feature. The villa is situated in a quiet residential area which makes for a peaceful holiday.The villa is spacious and very well presented and offers many home comforts. The villa was cleaned to a high standard for our arrival and the welcome bag was a nice touch. The outside terraces offer shaded areas to dine and relax. Great communication with Al and Diane before and during our stay. Thanks also to Sandra, the Villa Manager for her attention.Manta Rota is a charming town with a low-key atmosphere and is an ideal base to explore the Eastern Algarve.We look forward to returning to Villa 23!

Fabulous find!

Fabulous fortnight in this perfect villa. Great location, great size villa and pool. Hired a car to see the rest of the Algarve. Just wonderful, can't recommend enough. The owners are super friendly and quick to respond to queries.

Perfect Villa for our family holiday

This villa had everything we needed, and we all enjoyed the pool. The patio areas, BBQ and beautiful pots of plants which lit up at dark with pretty solar lights made our evenings extra special. We loved Manta Rota, the restaurants, cafes, bars and the clean and spacious beach. The kids loved the entertainment at the plaza. Everyone was friendly, especially the locals. The butchers made us some impressive chicken kebabs. We appreciated the hosts leaving us to do our own thing but there if we needed them. We slept well as there was aircon in the bedrooms as well as the living room. The kitchen was very well equipped. We also took the ferry to Spain for a few hours and had tapas before returning. We wish we could have stayed for a second week.Thank you.

Wonderful week in Manta Rota

Excellent from the start. The villa owner was very quick to respond to questions and also reminded us about the toll roads just before we arrived which was a lifesaver. The villa is lovely and well equipped. It's obviously someone's much loved holiday home rather than some of the pure rentals. It's well equipped and spotlessly clean. Goncales from the local management company was also very helpful. I rang to report that we needed a new spare gas bottle and it was delivered within 10 mins. Manta Rota is a lovely resort and we really enjoyed our week.

Here for the beach, but loved the pool!

We rented this villa knowing it was somewhat close to the beach. However the quiet neighborhood of this small village gets us thinking about a return visit. It is as advertised...within walking distance of beach, bars and restaurants. Food variety was great and many places to select. After time at the beach it was so nice to “come home” to a private place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine poolside. One week was not enough. Language barrier was never an issue. Our Portuguese was marginal, but so much English is common in shops, the beach and eateries. The villagers are friendly and helpful.

Wonderfully peaceful place to stay

This was our second visit to this lovely villa. This time friends came with us and were blown away by the Eastern Algarve, having only stayed around the Vilamoura area previously. Manta Rota beach is unbelievable and is just a short walk away. Local restaurants in Manta Rota and Vila Nova de Cacela serve excellent, traditional food at very reasonable prices. For golfers it could not be a better location with a variety of fantastic courses within easy reach. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

A very, very special place. Peaceful, beautiful and central to really great golf courses

This place is idyllic. We have stayed in this area for the last ten years or so, and this was the best yet. Perfect location, particularly for golfers. We have played around Vilamoura, but the courses that you are central to here we think are far more beautiful and, in some cases, more testing: Quinta do Val, Castro Marim, Benamor, Quinta da Ria etc. etc. Local restaurants serve delicious Portuguese food - particularly try "O Pedro's" and "Sabinos" a short walk away in Vila Nova de Cacela - definitely our preferred eateries. The accommodation is wonderful - well equipped, peaceful and well maintained. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. A fantastic location for golfers and non-golfers alike. Right near the beautiful town of Tavira and a very short walk to the most beautiful Manta Rota beach - simply wonderful. We're definitely going back next year - could not fault it. Tolles Haus mit schönem Aussenbereich, Pool und viel Platz

Das Haus bietet viel Platz (3 grosszügige Schlafzimmer und 2 komplette Badezimmer sowie ein separates WC), eine gut eingerichtete Küche mit Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler und Kaffeemaschine. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr gemütlich und der Pool ist toll! Die Lage ist sehr gut - ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss an den Strand und zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Dorf. Die Umgebung ist angenehm und ruhig. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar!

Repetimos a nossa estadia para ficar hospedados numa casa que achamos perfeita para passar férias. Tem tudo o que é preciso, desde a cozinha toda equipada, aos quartos (bons colchões), à sala de estar ou ao terraço para quem gosta de BBQ. Os donos são super atenciosos com o bem estar dos hóspedes mesmo estando longe. Recomendamos!

Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war problemlos, ebenso der Kontakt zum Host vor Ort - lief alles über Telefon. Das Haus ist mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet. Einmal pro Woche kommt ein Reinigungsteam, wechselt Bettwäsche und Handtücher und putzt die Räume. Lediglich der Toaster in der Küche sollte ausgewechselt werden.

One week in Manta Rota

Al's house is located in a nice neighborhood, about 1km from the beach and the center of Manta Rota. Although it takes a few minutes, it is perfectly possible to walk everywhere. The outside space of the house is wonderful and has undergone improvements over the years (we had already stayed in this house 3 years ago). The interior of the house could use some improvements and updates, but it was enough for us to spend a very pleasant week on vacation. I highly recommend it!

Tudo perfeito!

Somos repetentes, este deverá ser o nosso 3 ano. A casa é perfeita para as férias, tem tudo o que é preciso. O senhorio é 5 estrelas, super prestável e preocupado para que a nossa estadia corra bem. A praia é ótima, podemos ir a pé (10/15 minutos) ou de carro (5 minutos) e com estacionamento gratuito. Adorámos!
