Authentic 110m2 air-conditioned stone village house with 400m2 garden and heated pool (pool open from 2 May to 17 October) in the heart of the Catalan village of Villelongue-dels-Monts (66740) at the foot of the AlbĂšres mountains, just 15km from beaches (ArgelĂšs-sur-Mer, Le Racou) and 20min from Spain.

Quiet, with modern amenities blending with stone and traditional beams. Household linen, sheets, pillows, comforters and towels provided.

The house is the starting point for numerous hikes (Puig du Neulos, Puig Sant Cristau, GR10, Coll de l'Ullat) and mountain bike rides.

The village has a small supermarket (Vival) offering fresh bread and pastries every morning, a doctor's office, a media library, a Futsal hall, tennis courts and two restaurants serving quality local cuisine (Bodega Le 66, l'Axurit). Two shopping centers (Laroque des AlbĂšres, Le Boulou) are less than 10 minutes away by car.

OUTDOOR
Intimate, wooded garden of 400m2 featuring :

- an east-facing stone terrace with outdoor dining table, chairs and parasol
- a south-facing outdoor lounge shaded by a magnificent fig tree.
- a Manhattan 4 swimming pool (4.34m x 2.30m x 1.46m), illuminated and heated (+ cover with safety bars for children), with a large south-facing wooden terrace overlooking the AlbĂšres massif (Puig de Sant Cristau), deckchairs, sunshades and umbrellas. The pool is open from 2 May to 17 October.

The garden is also planted with local fruit trees (orange, lemon, almond, fig, prickly pear and pomegranate), the fruit of which is available to holidaymakers. The garden is bordered by a low wall raised above the street, allowing pets complete freedom. Pets are welcome.

Lovely house in a good location

Situated in a quiet pleasant village, the location is ideal for mountain and beach activites. The house has a homely feel and is very well equipped, with the garden and pool providing nice outdoor leisure space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Wir hatten unseren Sommerurlaub fĂŒr 2 Wochen als Familie mit erwachsenen Kindern und Hund verbracht. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen deutlich ĂŒbertroffen. Alles ist absolut sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und technisch auf hohem Standard (neue Fenster mit Fliegengitter, Klimaanlage in jedem Zimmer). Das GrundstĂŒck ist komplett eingezĂ€unt - mit Hund also kein Problem.Der Garten ist traumhaft angelegt, der Pool zwar klein aber geschmackvoll und völlig ausreichend um intensiv zu entspannen.Der Ort ist sehr ruhig. Die Tapas-Bar ist in Laufweite. Allerdings kommt man ohne Französisch-Kenntnisse hier nicht sehr weit. Der Nachbarort Laroque-des-Alberes ist mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar und bietet viele Restaurants.Der Strand ist mit dem Auto in 25 Minuten erreichbar und erfĂŒllt alle Erwartungen. Es gibt auch einen Bereich, an dem Hunde erlaubt sind. Hinzu kommen die schönen KĂŒstenstĂ€dte wie Collioure und Banyuls-sur-Mer (Port-Vendres hat uns nicht gefallen).Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war sehr professionell und Antworten kamen immer direkt.Wir buchen (bisher) aus Prinzip nicht 2 Mal denselben Ort. Hier ist die Versuchung aber sehr groß - wĂŒrden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Emplacement central au village, les parkings sont accessibles en quelques minutes dans le village, Le terrain bien que petit est trÚs agréable et surtout bien ombragé et clos. les facilités pour les courses: à peine 10kms avec un Carrefour market et un boulanger extra. Charming old house, beautifully renovated

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house a lot! Jerome was super helpful during the whole stay (and before our stay). He always answered each of our question very fast, and gave us great recommendations of hiking trails, beaches, restaurants, etc... The house is located in a village that has a very nice tapas restaurant, a tiny grocery store that also sells fresh baguettes/croissants, and a bunch of hiking trails that you can start from the village. There are a few wineries that you can visit, which are about 20min away, and same with the beaches. So it's nice that you don't necessarily have to drive far away from the house to do things. The house has a beautiful garden/terrace/swimming pool, but we were unable to enjoy it much, due to the bad weather :( I highly recommend this place.

Nous avons passĂ© un super sĂ©jour dans cette maison de campagne dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t... un lieu plein de surprises et de saveurs.. Quel doux sĂ©jour Ă  Villelongue-dels-Monts, dans cette jolie maison.. SĂ©jour calme eT serein comme nous l’espĂ©rions... NichĂ©e Ă  quelques pas de villages achalandĂ©s... nous avons pu Ă©galement trois les jours dĂ©couvrir les plages du sud de la France 😀😀 Nous recommandons sans aucun doute cette jolie demeure !

Belle maison familiale au pied des AlbĂšres

TrĂšs agrĂ©able sĂ©jour dans cette belle maison de pierre, situĂ©e presque au cƓur du village. Propre, grande, et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, elle dispose Ă©galement d’une climatisation qui soulage des chaleurs de la journĂ©e. Nous avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ© le jardin, trĂšs fleuri et arborĂ©. Il propose plusieurs petits espaces diffĂ©rents adaptĂ©s aux diffĂ©rents moments de la journĂ©e. Notamment un joli salon d’extĂ©rieur ombragĂ©, encore plus charmant en soirĂ©e avec ses petites guirlandes lumineuses. La piscine, pas trĂšs grande mais rafraichissante, est Ă©galement bien amĂ©nagĂ©e avec sa terrasse en bois, ses parasols, et ses transats confortables. Les travaux extĂ©rieurs venaient de se terminer Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, il restait encore quelques espaces simplement en « terre", mais l’ensemble sera assurĂ©ment parfait ces derniers petits travaux seront achevĂ©s. Nous avons Ă©galement apprĂ©ciĂ© la situation au pied du massif des AlbĂšres, et Ă  15/20 minutes de la cĂŽte. Pour finir, l’accueil est trĂšs sympa et attentif aux Ă©ventuels besoins des locataires. Une maison trĂšs recommandable donc. Merci !

Oase unterm Feigenbaum

Sehr schöner Garten mit herrlichem Blick auf die Berge. SehR geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Nettes Dorf mit kleinem Laden und Tapasbar. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefĂŒhlt. Einziger Minus Punkt war der muffige Geruch des Schlafraums im Untergeschoss. Insgesamt aber ganz unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen.
