This is a large chateau. The owner has been restoring the property for over 10 years but it is still work in progress. He is an excellent cook and the in house dinners are a good choice. The breakfast was good. The bedroom was large, clean and very 19th century French. Lovely polished wood floors. Large grounds around the hotel. Free parking.

Disappointing stay

Ground are amazing except the pool was not open. Did not know that before I booked or would have booked elsewhere. Didn't mind if it would have been cold but was not fit to swim in. No restaurant as advertised and no bar either. Room was clean but back mold in shower. Wifi did not reach room unless door open and even then off and on.

Lovely friendly dog. Plastic bathroom with no ventilation and electric loo. Breakfast basic. Extremely kind and helpful host. Pool small but very nice. No TV. Beds excellent. Evening meal good.

We came to the hotel for the semi-final euro game in Lyon. We found a very nice place in the midlle of the forest, very helptull and nice owner, and we had a great stay there

Meget slidt udseende bygning, poolen var snavset, der lugtede surt/af gammel rÞg pÄ trappen og vores vÊrelse var en slidt lejlighed under taget som ikke lignede billederne og som intet havde med "slotsophold" at gÞre. BadevÊrelset var ikke rengjort og det sÄ ud som at der var nikotinlag pÄ nogle af mÞblerne. Vi bookede et slotsvÊrelse, men det lignede ikke de rum der var pÄ billederne.

L'accueil est souriant, mĂȘme si on vous prĂ©cise bien avant toute chose que l'arrivĂ©e est Ă  partir de 17h. Quelle importance lorsque la chambre est prĂȘte ? Trois chambres occupĂ©es dans tout le chĂąteau, mais impossible de choisir ou de changer..... L'environnement est agrĂ©able : en pleine nature, au milieu d'un parc. Chambre Ă  l'Ă©tage correcte, mais chambre au rez-de-chaussĂ©e dĂ©cevante. Impression de froid humide, plutĂŽt sombre. Le chĂąteau lui mĂȘme a besoin d'une grosse remise en Ă©tat. Beaucoup de dĂ©tails laissent Ă  dĂ©sirer. C'est une vieille maison..... Le chauffage fonctionne et l'eau de la douche est chaude. Mais aucun produit de toilette dans la salle d'eau, exceptĂ© un pot de.....savon liquide.....on ne sait pas.... Pas de sĂšche cheveux. Literie correcte. Pas de tĂ©lĂ© dans la chambre. Le petit dĂ©jeuner n'est pas un buffet : des pots entamĂ©s de confiture, pĂąte chocolatĂ©e..... sur la table. Quelques petits fromages identiques plutĂŽt bons. (Pas de choix....) Des yaourts aux fruits d'Intermarche, une bouteille de jus de fruit, eau chaude pour le thĂ© et cafĂ© dans une thermos. Un croissant par personne et pain Ă  volontĂ©.(une variĂ©tĂ©). Du beurre sur la table dans un ravier. Quelques oranges. Il faut aimer ce qui est proposĂ©, car pas de choix. Pas de jambon ou saucisson.....Pas de spĂ©cialitĂ© de la rĂ©gion. Le rapport qualitĂ© prix est mauvais pour l'ensemble Ă  mon avis.
