good hotel, less than optimal breakfast

i booked through hotels.com for a standard room. when i arrived at the hotel, they could not locate my reservation. then they were out of rooms. the front desk had to call her manager and explain the situation. the manager then said to put me in a suite due to the inconvenience. i did not expect that, but i was so thankful they were able to accommodate me because i had been driving for 12 hours and i was exhausted. the breakfast options need some work. they have someone serving breakfast to you. portions were toddler size. other than that, it was a pleasant stay!

Buffalo Run - Nice place to stay.

Nice, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good with helpful and personable staff. Will definitely stay again.

The reservation process was easy. When I checked in they said they did not have any kings left. They gave us a double queen which happened to be the last room left. The door was not secure so we had the desk person scope out the room first. Let’s see what the rest of the stay brings. I was hoping this would be a good place after reading the reviews.

This is our four stay with this hotel. We love the big parking lot. The hotel seems to be going downhill with each stay. The bathrooms are extremely dark and could use some more hooks in the bathroom. The bathroom towels were very frayed. The hair-dryer blew cool air only. Once we checked into our room we wanted to use the safe and the batteries were old and had corrosions on them causing the safe not to work. They did replace with another safe. The breakfast was outstanding.

Don’t stop!

The room was 55 degrees when we walked in. Turned up thermostat and left. When we came back to go to bed it was 61. No blanket in the closet. Mo phone in the room to call. Used cell phone to call and no answer. Had to call down over the ledge to the front desk where she was playing with her cell phone. She brought up two light blankets and checked the ac unit. Finally got it to blow warm air but we still froze most of the night. One side of the bed was hard as a rock. We will never stay there again. Friends with us won’t either.
