The location was absolutely perfect. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The ocean view was amazing and very relaxing. Stephon Clay did a great job with my bags and valet parking. This will be my go-to vacation spot anytime I am in Virginia Beach.

Had to switch rooms twice for wet carpet and towels in the sink. Moved to a new room and the carpet in format of fridge was also saturated. The front desk check in was very frustrating. One person working and 6 people in line when it’s already a long process. Took me 30 minutes to get through the process. Very aggravating for the price I paid for this room including the $200 retainer for a below average room. Could have had a better experience at the Marriott.

I’ve lived in Va Beach my whole life and always wanted to stay at the oceanfront and finally had a chance and was extremely underwhelmed. I guess I’ve always had a perception that they would be luxurious and fancy, but I was wrong. Obviously, you’re paying to be at the oceanfront. But other than that, I was not impressed. I was completely grossed out by the toilet, underneath the seat was splattered with urine and the floors were wet, not sure why bc there was dust and dirt. Then, there were tons of gnats, and we were on the 16th floor. I don’t know, I guess my expectations were too high.
