The property, especially the rooms, needs a bit of remodeling. The bathrooms in particular should be a bit more modern, with showers instead of bathtubs, or more photographable lighting or colors.

Clean and perfect location

On the older side and bathroom is small however so clean, staff so friendly and helpful, in the perfect spot on the boardwalk. I’ve stayed several times and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was a little dingy, but not terrible. The corners of the bathroom floor and the bathroom counter were quite dirty. Toilet paper was super thin. Location was good - not really walking distance to pier and fun park with kids, but close to some playgrounds, shops, and restaurants.

Not Just a View (4.5 stars)

Our annual vacation before the start of the school year was perfect! Rates are very agreeable (a straight-out steal during the week). The best part, the balcony ocean view was the whole reason. We were comfortable and had a perfect view. You can tell the hotel is privately owned. Attention to upkeep was apparent and service was great. Showers are hot and with strong pressure. What kept my rating from being a 5 was the electrical amenities. TV’s in the rooms are not smart. Only local cable (no streaming from devices). Plugs for charging devices not easily located. Elevators are slow but not bad for a 6 story building. Conclusion: We had an amazing time and made awesome memories. Would give a 4.5 out of 5 if able.

The room had a beautiful view of the ocean but was not in the best repair. There were holes in the walls and the ceiling. What appeared to be old dry blood on the bathroom floor. The pool was cool to have but the water temperature was freezing. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

For the deal we got on this hotel - it was definitely a great value. Oceanfront room, a block away from Neptune, tons of dining and shopping options steps away. At night, quiet and safe. The rooms are cozy and comfortable and the AC works great! We had only one issue that our fridge didn't work - but in all fairness we did not report it because we just decided not to use it - we were there only 2 nights. But I would stay here again.
