The rooms online look very promising and we were very excited to stay at this hotel.
Upon arrival there was no one at the front reception and did have to call a number to get checked in. Once we got into our room the floors were all wet, there were no towels, and it did not look like the listing online. The room had a bad Oder so we quickly opened the balcony to get fresh air into the room. The walls were extremely dirty and the lock to our room at the time seemed broken.
Balcony does overlook the water in the living area but the bedroom does have a window into the hallway.. not the ocean. We did have to call to ask for towels and wait 15 minutes to receive anything.
On our second day we were having a little relax time on the couch watching a movie with the lights and balcony darkened and someone CAME INTO OUR ROOM unannounced! No “room service” no knock … just our door opening. We jumped up out of fear so quickly that we stopped them from fully walking into us.
This was VERY odd because no where in the description of this listing talks about room service NOR did room service come at any other time during our stay?
We attempted to get a soda from the lobby at one point and LUCKY tried using cash before a card because the machine ended up trying to charge $99.00 for a soda. My travel partner went to the front desk and asked about it and they said they “had to get it fixed” … scam? Overall not happy with the experience & stay.
