The worst hotel stay ever!!! The bathroom clogged and we called front desk at 6 am to get help because water was gushing out of toilet.The lady on duty said the engineering was not available.We called again and asked if we could go to another room to bath and change clothes.The front desk clerk told us yo go to the front desk to pick up keys.We asked why they couldn’t bring to us.She said that she couldn’t leave front desk.We kept calling and they gave us the runaround.They finally got someone to come but it was 8:30 am.We had to remove the water ourselves.The lady hung up the phone on and didn’t offer no compensation for the hassle and headache we endured.I will never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

You have to be ready to do some walking around the property, but that was the point when it was built. One of the better kept older places that we’ve stay at in a while!

The room was a bit of a walk but the room was perfect! Staff was very friendly and helpful! For the restaurants, there are 2, one is fancy and beautiful and the other was regular fare food with a few menu items. Was really good! Wish they had Prime to watch football but our stay was short anyway. Beautiful location and have already recommended it!

The front desk staff was incompetent and unable to answer basic guests questions amenities in and around the property. They were very slow with Checkin and securing airport transportation to the airport.

oh, everything was very comfortable. There was just only a couple things inside of the actual room. The light to the left side of the bed didn’t work and the fan in the bathroom was extremely loud.

The hotel was very pleasant and picturesque (especially the grounds). The rooms were lovely and spacious. However, I think the breakfast options could do with a bit of improvement (but the omelettes that are made fresh in front of you are lovely)

It is in a convenient location and the property is well kept. The main areas are nicely decorated. The rooms could use some updating and more attention to detail but overall a nice place to stay.

We enjoyed the property overall, though it felt a little outdated. Housekeeping could use some improvement, as we noticed a room service tray left outside a room for more than 12 hours. Bathroom was very clean!

We have stayed at Founders Inn for multiple visits to the Virginia Beach area. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. We love the easy access on and off Interstate 64. It sits close enough for day visits to the beach, but has a nice size swimming pool if you just want to stay put. The restaurant has a great staff and the food is good. We will stay there again when in the area.
