Things to Do in Vouliagmeni

Vouliagmeni’s largest stretch of sand—Vouliagmeni Beach—curves around the top of the bay. The area is super clean and you can order food and drink right from the comfort of your lounge chair.

Directly to the west, deepen your tan at Astir Beach—you know, if one huge beach just isn’t enough. You can build sandcastles on these shores and visit the ancient ruins of the Temple of Apollo Zoster. Just bear in mind that after high tide, they’ll look about the same.

Further north, on Vouliagmeni’s west coast, watch the sunset at Kavouri Beach (yes, another one) before eating your fill of moussaka in a waterfront restaurant.

After dusk, you can kick up your heels in nearby Athens and come back to relax in one of the beachside Vouliagmeni hotels, or book Athens accommodation and stay out late in the capital city!

Getting To & Around Vouliagmeni

Touch down at Athens International Airport (ATH), just 25 km north of downtown Vouliagmeni. You can hop on a train or bus or pick up a hired car (from Wotif, of course!) and see the Greater Athens area.
