The breakfast area was clean, well stocked, and pleasantly staffed. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and professional. I didn't use the pool or area nor fitness center. It is a short walking distance to a number of stores and restaurants as well.

Room was overtaken by bugs. No exaggeration. That is the entire reason for the rating. Desk staff at check in were great. Desk staff at check out were marginal. The place was oversold, so could not change rooms. Were able to cancel the 2nd night with full refund, so somewhat redeeming. Must deal with the bugs before this hotel should ever be listed as an option on Hotels.com

The property location is a perfect location for us. Staff is great. Responsive when needed. Missing the warm chocolate chip cookies from 6 to 8 that weve found at other Hampton Inns.

Upon arrival there were bugs found in the toilet, bathtub and bathroom floor. After showering and walking to the bed a large cockroach crawled across the nightstand table top. Pulling open the drawer multiple roaches ran out and scattered in both drawers. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The room was extremely dated with furniture that was heavily worn.

The Pros and Cons

Some services within the hotel were in disrepair (ex elevator, ice machine). The breakfast was exceptional and both kitchen attendants warm and friendly. Room was overly dark. Sink bump out made it hard to use. The bed was very comfortable.

I showed up a few hours early for check in, the lady at the front desk was very accommodating and was able to let me check in early, as well as having a lovely chat. All of the staff I interacted with on my stay were kind and courteous, and the room was clean and tidy
