Luxury Apartment on the Waterfront
Pio Road Apartment is a modern 2 Bedroom apartment situated in the Waihi Beach community. The apartment enjoys stunning waterfront views across the Anthenree Harbour. It is 104 square meters with large glass sliding walls opening out to the deck from the living area, extending the space even further in the summer months.
The apartment is beautifully furnished with high quality furnishings. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms feature wet area showers, toilets and vanities. A third shower is also available outside the apartment for cleaning off after the beach.
The living room and 1 of the upstairs bedrooms is equipped with My Sky boxes with all sky services available.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you are likely to need along with a dishwasher and large fridge. A coffee maker and a stove top espresso maker are available for those of you who like starting the day with a good coffee. A variety of teas and coffees are provided for you to enjoy.
All lighting throughout the property is automatic and will turn on and off as you enter and exit the rooms. Heating is all underfloor and the control panels are throughout the apartment to operate this.
High quality bed linen is provided and beds will be made up prior to your arrival. There are guests towels provided for use in the apartment. You will need to bring your own beach towels.
There is a fully equipped laundry with a washer/dryer.
The boatclub restaurant is a 2 minute walk down the road and can be seen from the balcony. There are many cafes in the town centre but by far and away is the most delightful restaurant The Falls Retreat in the Karangahake Gorge, where you can enjoy a very special setting and a beautiful meal. This is my personal favorite and is a not to be missed if you are from out of town. Waihi Beach shops are a 5 minute drive away where you will find beautiful boutiques and lots of cafe choices.
Throughout the year windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, kite surfing along with many more outdoor water pursuits can be viewed from the deck or for the more adventurous, can be participated in. The beach is a short 2 minute walk across the road behind the apartment. The area is perfect for walking and bike riding. 5 minutes down the road is beautiful Anzac Bay. A great place to go for picnics, swimming and a walk up to the lookout.
The Karangahake Gorge is a 20 minute drive away, where there are many opportunities to walk or bike through old tunnels and discover a mixture of gold mining history and natural beauty.
