Aloha! This was a great centrally-located condo for exploring Maui. However, we were disappointed to see that the beach directly in front of the condo, as shown in the photos and highlighted in the advertised condo description, is no longer there, and even the stairs are long-gone. In order to access the beach, due to the eroded/washed out seashore and missing stairs, a 5-minute walk down the road and through a park is necessary. This was not difficult or unpleasant, but frustrating since we thought we would have direct access to the beautiful beach as pictured. The grounds of the condo are beautifully kept and very peaceful. The location is quiet, and many beautiful blooming flowers all around. Inside the condo, we were pleased with how well stocked everything was. However, the toaster was broken and we found the bedding in the secondary bedroom to be well-worn and old; both beds were very comfortable though! One of the ceiling fans stopped working, which increased the inside humidity, and there was only an AC in the living room, which did not help in the bedrooms. We could not find a fuse-box, likely locked inside a closet. Some of the beach chairs were very tired/broken and need to be replaced, but we were happy to have them to use during our outings. We struggled with ants in the kitchen, despite keeping everything very tidy, but that is somewhat expected in the tropics. However, additional cleaning products (wipe/spray) and a dish-drying rack would have been helpful.
