The hosts were terrific. My bed was dreamy. Plenty of hot water in the shower with good pressure. Breakfast was different and fabulous every day. I had a wonderful 4 night stay.

Our time at Mad River Inn was incredible from start to finish. Brandon and Susannah were extremely helpful and gracious hosts . They greeted us at the door and attended to every need we had from snacks, to restaurant and shopping recommendations, to a brief history of the property. Some special highlights of the experience included the hottub, gameroom, unlimited tea, extremely comfortable king bed, and delicious, decadent home-cooked breakfasts. I would absolutely recommend Mad River Inn to any traveler staying in this area of Vermont. 100/10!

Excellent Inn near Sugarbush

Brandon and Suzanah were very accomodating. They are hands on running the inn. Breakfast was excellent. Definitely will return.

A charming Bed and Breakfast

We had a great stay at the Mad River Inn. Wonderful hosts, lovely old inn, delicious breakfast (and afternoon cookies!), impressive tea selection, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had to cut our stay short unexpectedly, but we’ll be back!

Fantastic Stay at The Mad River Inn

We had a fantastic stay at Mad River Inn with Brandon and Suzannah. Breakfast was incredible with a sweet and savoury option every morning. The game room is a lovely extra. The location is great with easy access to Stowe and Waterbury close by with great restaurants. Our room was comfortable and cosy - a fantastic place to stay for a weekend away

Great breakfasts! The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. They have a formal living room and a game room in the basement. They live in the house with their 2 young children who play in the living room after dinner. They were very cute.

The owners of this property were friendly and gracious, The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The food was fantastic. Our hosts even mapped out a driving route of the area so we could take in all the beautiful fall foliage.
