The Kurpark, leisure centre and a large children’s playground are within about a five-minute walk. The Cistercian monastery, an important part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage site "Rammelsberg ore mine, Goslau old town and Oberharz water conservancy”, with its impressive modern museum, is only about a ten-minute walk from Villa Brodthage.
You can relax in the big garden with century-old trees and a pond with lilies, as well as the newly designed rose and perennial garden. There is a generous garden sitting area with comfortable garden furniture, a parasol and grill in the sunny orchard right by the house. There are further seating and loungers, as well as a campfire area, in the park. The park was laid out according to the ideas of the garden architect Rudolf Ehlgötz in the 1930s.
