Welcome to Camp Comfort! Cozy little cottage on Lazy Harbor West Wareham. Views of Beautiful Marion and Weweantic River leading to Buzzards Bay. Cottage has all the modern comforts you need for a great vacation. WIFI / Cable, microwave, washer/dryer, gas grill, fire pit, AC. Enjoy a relaxing Cape Cod vibe without having to fight traffic or cross the bridges. Cookouts and campfires add to the experience. Walking distance to sandy beach with loads of little crabs to be entertained by or enjoy the waterfront on either side of this private paradise peninsula. Walking distance to mini golf, ice cream stand and sit down dining. Close to the canal and train bridge and many other wonderful attractions. Cottage has 4 cozy bunk beds, a futon bed, and a loft with a full size mattress for sleeping. Take a swim and enjoy a rinse in the outdoor shower. Relax on the deck and enjoy the breeze. It is a little slice of Heaven.

This listing should be more clear that the only adult sized sleeping accommodations are in a very small loft up a ladder. Only room to sit up in the very middle and awkward to backward crawl down. The couch is old and worn down so a board in the middle makes it impossible to sleep on. The bunk beds are homemade with foam pads and if you’re over 5’ your legs will stick out the end. We also had issues with bugs. The moment we set food on the counter, dozens of ants appeared. In the evening, there were so many mosquitoes it made the deck uninhabitable and we got bit like mad in the outdoor shower. Bring lots of bug spray. We were disappointed we couldn’t enjoy the view because of the mosquitoes- there’s got to be a way they could spray for them. The cabin is in a nice little neighborhood and appears as in pictures but there’s no dock anymore. The fire pit is right next to the neighbors house and under tree branches, so we never used it.

Overall really nice rustic place but very dusty. First night my sons allergies reacted and for the rest of the week he was not well. Besides that really nice view and good location.

What a perfect location
Perfectly rustic/vintage if you will. It's small but it had plenty of room for a family. You can't beat the charm of it, plus the location! Sitting on the patio watching the herons and ospreys fish while drinking coffee, stargazing or in our case watching the fireworks, since it was the 4th with the glass of wine, taking an outdoor shower (the only shower is outside), watching little crabs run around, going to the beach that's only couple min away was everything. I just wish we had more time to do some kayaking and do the bonefire. Grocery store- shaw's, walgreens is couple min down the street. Also icecream place that we didn't get the chance to visit, because i underestimated the time for driving to the rest rest of cape cod, so we spend too much time just driving to places. I absolutely loved it, hope to be back someday

Wonderful spot
We were very pleased with our stay at Camp Comfort. It was very quiet and we enjoyed grilling and watching the fiddler crabs on the shore. If you want a cozy cabin with rustic charm this is for you.

Fantastic place
My family enjoyed the most relaxing stay here, and we absolutely loved the location. The kids had so much fun “crab hunting”! The scenery is amazing, I couldn’t see it clear because it was across the river but I believe there was an eagle perched on the dock across from us. Ten out of ten would stay here again!
