Bullet hole in door of our room

Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. However, our room had a bullet hole in the door and the smoke detector over the bed was covered in plastic. I’m pretty sure the hotel was not full, and it seems inappropriate that they assigned guests to a room whose door let light from the hallway in through a bullet hole. I’m not sure if the previous guests covered the smoke detector or if they had covered it to paint the ceiling, but I would think they would check on things like this. We are requesting a refund for our stay.

We stayed 3 nights. No frills but the room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, & waffles, etc. The room had a microwave & small refrigerator & provided shampoo, conditioner, etc. The staff were nice. We were provided with towels daily & our room was straightened each day. This was agood deal for the price & I would stay there again.

Just needed a place to stay for the night and this was a good choice. It was safe, quiet and clean. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The fridge didnt work the best and was leaking a bit but thats an easy fix. Breakfast was also very good and the staff were all friendly.

The shower water pressure in our unit was basically non existent, it would merely trickle out of the shower head. Apart from that, the service of staff was great, they were even able to check me in early and the property was good enough to accommodate our stay.

The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room was kept stocked and clean. The hotel is a prime location for construction workers working from different states so they are gone all day. So it is very quiet. The staff is very helpful
