Great host great price

Stayed here as a break on my way to Scotland. Was made very welcome given the keys a had breakfast times explained. Wi-fi passwords were on the the check in desk. The room I had was a single en suite which had a chest of drawers a small cupboard and a flat screen tv. The bathroom had a shower which towels were supplied. Tea and coffee facilities were supplied. Breakfast was great I had orange juice ,full english, tea and toast which was perfectly cooked. The area outside the hotel has 2 pubs and several resturants for eating. There was a bit of noise but this was due to it being a busy area on a Saturdat night and the double glazing keeps most of it at bay. For what is included it is excellent value. Thanks I thouroughly enjoyed my stay.

Perfect

Victoria Lodge is very welcoming. Check in was simple. The rooms are clean, well equipped and super comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. There is parking on the driveway or free on street parking is also available. The hotel is in a lovely area with many restaurants in very short walking distance.

Blast from the past

Check in was smooth and the breakfast was good and freshly cooked. The room had a double bed in space that should have had a single to the extent that the door to the bathroom would only open halfway as it fouled the bed. The plaster is cracked on the sloping ceiling and by the window. The curtains provide no blackout whatsoever.

The victoria lodge was very conveniently located in the village, there was good but limited parking. The room was compact but clean and usable. Breakfast was excellent and throughout the staff was very helpful and attentive.

I really enjoyed my stay at VL. The location is convenient and surprisingly quiet considering how close it is to the centre of Stockton Heath. My room was spacious and had good facilities (comfortable bed, extra bedding, ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a fan), the staff were friendly and accommodating (they were very kind and let me leave my bag while away for the weekend) and the breakfasts were delicious. The only downside was that it was quite hot during my stay and my room was on the top floor and the window didn't open so it was pretty stifling - thank goodness for the fan!

Convenient, comfortable and friendly B and B

Very friendly and helpful reception. Very convenient for various bars and restaurants. Allowed us to leave our car parked until mid afternoon on checkout day. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Our only criticism would be that the ensuite bathroom area with shower was very small but for one night didn't spoil our stay.
