Great hotel, with one bad experience

Great Hotel, great location, very good breakfast. The only bad experience was I paid cash by Euro when I checked in. I was supposed to get change of about 20 euro and was told they don't have at the moment and will give back at checkout. I stated that if she wants to give me zloty its ok and she said no she will give me change at checkout. At checkout she gave me zloty and said she doesn't have euro. I was pretty angry because once checked out went directly to the airport and had nothing to do with the zloty.

This is no 5 star hotel

The hallway carpets were stained. The bed was worn out and lumpy. The bathroom drain was super slow draining. The towels are old and coarse. The newly installed thermostat wasn’t working properly and was constantly blinking throughout the night. The large screen tv was awesome, but the connection to the cable system was dysfunctional. I called maintenance and he came to fix it but shortly after he left it conked out again. The hotel was sold by Marriott and I see why. They realized it would cost too much money to fix everything. Great location though, nice lobby but the room was dated and flawed.

Fantastic location

A view from our room was amazing but the room needs updating. Our kettle did not work and it was replaced with a new one when asked. There was also an issue with the radiator. Our request for a room in a higher floor was accommodated and thank you for that. Breakfast was very good with an option of made to order omelettes. A bar on the top rather old, dark and very expensive like god Warsaw, although drinks were very good. Spa - nice but very busy with plenty of kinds. If you want it less busy go there between 12noon - 2 pm or after 7 pm. Still do not understand £10 deposit they took (still waiting for the money). Usually in my experience deposits are often blocked and the funds are released automatically at the check out. Overall, a mixed experience with the best views in Warsaw, very friendly staff and fantastic location. However, the hotel needs some uplifting including new mattresses.

The room's maintenance level was low, the air conditioner was not working properly, the toilet was clogged, the faucet in the bathroom could barely be opened, we had to complain several times.

Room was nice and spacious plus great view from higher floors! The hotel itself is located in a very convenient location right across from the warsaw central train station. There is a shopping mall nearby and many restaurants within walking distance.

The room was extremely outdated. The bar door was broken. The bathroom tub was clogged. Bathroom was very tiny and uncomfortable with lots of damages around. But, the reception area was fully renovated. The spa was amazing.
