Everything but front desk staff. We called in advance that we will be checking in late ( after 11pm because of weather conditions on the road). When we arrived person working there had limited english ( at least that was our experience since he didn’t talk at all just gestures)and also very unfriendly ( it looks like we woke him up and he was not happy). Two days later on the check out different people same attitude. Little bit of friendly smile will not cost you a fortune but people will feel welcome there.

Kosta, Seble, and the nice lady who cleaned my room every day (her son is at Virginia Tech). ALL OF THE STAFF — Kosta, Seble, the nice lady, and all the staff. Whoever is managing is hiring really good people, and the people are wonderful. At every turn, staff was helpful to me. I don’t know everyone’s name. But this hotel is wonderful.

The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful, giving us tips on the museum. They felt like old friends. The building had a lounge area for sitting inside and an outside area. Convenient snacks located in a little shop area on site. Close to the Metro and I would recommend it 100%.

It was good. Clean building with a little store to purchase some snacks. Check in was fine and they gave us a late check out. Close to the metro and not far walk to DuPont. My only complaint is that we had two rooms and both were super hot. Attempted to turn on AC in both rooms and it would switch over to back to heat. We ended up just opening a window since it was already late and we were tired.

I dont know what all of the bad reviews are about. We had a lovely stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, room was very nice, bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. At night it was a little bit noisy on saturday night, but the hotel cannot control people outside.

I was looking forward to valet parking but no one was there. Parking was headache because valet is advertised but self-parking is recommended. The room is beautiful, I expected more from the tub but it’s okay. Check-in was really smooth.
