The property is new and hip. 15 min walk to the warf area and 15 min walk to hip, urban area full of restaurants with outdoor dinning. Hotel is next to a sketchy area of housing but once u get past that its great. Also a great view of capitol out our window.

Great if you can find a place to park.

The hotel itself is beautiful, staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking situation, however, is atrocious. Valet is the ONLY option, and at $65 (after taxes) a night? Not worth it. I couldn’t find a parking garage so unfortunately I had no other choice. They are indeed money hungry, with outrageous prices for breakfast and their little mini mart options. The room I was in had a view of the Washington Monument and a little bit of Nationals Park. The building directly outside my window had extremely bright lights that stayed on all night, which the blinds in the room do not filter out. Other than that, most everything was great. The bathroom is sleek, with Bluetooth and a nightlight built into the mirror.

The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Everything was clean and well maintained. Food downstairs was fabulous, great selection of grab and go items too. Convenient to Nationals Park and metro.

Housekeeping kept the room clean and replenished towels, clothes, coffee, etc. Beds were made daily. For a non-smoking hotel-the lobby and room stunk of marijuana. Lobby is from valet driver going out and sitting in a white vehicle in front of the hotel and once done he would come back in the lobby. Every single time we were in the lobby/sidewalk. This is not someone who should be responsible for operating a vehicle. Our mini refrigerator temperature was turned all the way down so it was unusable until the morning after we arrived. They did compensate by discounting our valet parking. Weekends the streets and lobby were packed with parties. Lobby had a security guard/law enforcement present. The next morning there was vomit and broken bottles on the sidewalk.
