The staff were great. The room was clean but needs renovation. The restaurant was not customer friendly. E.g. The menu says eggs your way but when I asked for an omelette the waitess said "We can do that". The parking structure was not clean (ie. Elevator, and stairs).

We stayed at this hotel the night before a flight from DCA, and chose it because it had a free shuttle to the airport and excellent rates. It is conveniently located at the intersection of I-395 and Seminary Road - so it's easy to get on and off the highway - but it's not especially close to the airport. The shuttle ran pretty much on time, but it took 30 minutes to get to the airport because of traffic and stops at metro and train stations. The room itself was large, with a sofa and tables, a refrigerator and lots of room for luggage. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We didn't turn on the TV but it appeared to have Netflix. The bathroom was clean but could use some updating; it was extremely difficult to turn on the shower and the bathtub was so slippery I couldn't even step in without a mat. We didn't get to try the breakfast, but the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Overall, a good value for money.
