Although my experience started out with a fall, I have high praise for the staff of this hotel. It is apparent that the front office manager (Edna) runs a tight ship along with the office supervisor (Junior). Tyeshia, the front desk person is above reproach with her customer care. Both she and Junior were extremely attentive to my party's and other guest's requests. Staff treated us as though we were in a 5-star hotel. I plan to stay here at our next visit to D.C. The hotel is clean and conveniently located across the street from an Aldi store and CVS. A hotel shuttle is dependable and available for transport to and from the DCA (airport) and some metro stations. A bistro-style restaurant with good food items is located within the hotel. All in all, this was a fabulous experience.

Excellent weekend getaway!

Had a two night stay here and found it to be very comfortable and also very convenient with its very quick access to 395. Its quite centrally located in the busy Arlington/Alexandria area and offers quick access north to DC or south to Tysons Corner and Fairfax. My room was quiet and had all the comforts of home. Service at the front desk was friendly and attentive. Its an obviously older hotel but they maintain it well and I will likely stay there again!

I booked this spot based on reviews from Expedia. We were traveling and would be checking in around midnight. When we arrived there were folks loitering around the driveway, should have been a clue. I checked in and had to drive and park in the garage next door. We carried our small children in the side entrance, which was poorly lit and intimidating. Once we arrived to our room, we realized this would be a long night. No working toilet, only one light working in the entire room, and the phone wouldn’t call downstairs. We were given an adjoining room, I checked it multiple times but I could still hear someone open the other side throughout the night and check our door. Honestly I didn’t sleep much, we didn’t feel safe. I shared my concerns with the front desk in the morning and about the items not working. They refunded my $50 parking.
