Why be open?! Ugh calling Marriott!

absolutely ridiculous that it’s open during renovations! White dust everywhere! Could not find it for over an hour as there was no sign ON THE TOP or in view of road that it was still open! Water took forever to get hot, then would get ice cold while in it. Ran out of nasal tissue, rug seemed not well vacuumed, only 1 star for the amazing restaurant and their staff

There was massive renovations and construction taking place which I was not made aware of. Fitness center, pool, restaurant, everything was closed. All day construction noise made it impossible to be in the room with peace and quiet. The couple who checked in before me was offered late check out at 2 pm but when I asked for it, I was told it would be an additional day charge. I wan a marriot member if that makes a difference. On the day of check out, by 11:14, my key card had already been blocked even though check out is at 12. The only place to eat was on the mezzanine and the menu inside was completely different than the menu online. Ended up leaving to another hotel across the street.

When we checked into the hotel, it was quite the nightmare due to construction! It was not clear how to even get into the building and thankfully we ran into another guest that helped us with that. Once inside the staff was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!!! The gentleman doing the check in was awesome as well as the security guy. The room was very nice and very clean!! We tried to explore the hotel a little and everything was under construction so there was nothing to do. We were told there was a pool but it was closed. We couldn't get to certain areas because it was all closed off so it was extremely confusing. And be prepared because they start working around 6:30 in the morning!!!!!! Again, during check out the staff was wonderful and even the staff in the dining hall were great!!! No issues there. We just wish we would have known ahead of time about some things and we probably wouldn't have chose this hotel. We were looking for rest and relaxation after a 10 hour drive and this was not the place for it!
