We enjoyed our stay overall and the location can't be beat! Walking distance to the National Mall, the Wharf, restaurants, shopping, Metro and Bus lines, Capital Bike share and so on! What we would see improved is the thermostat in the room lets you set the temp to 65 degrees but never goes cooler than 72/73 degrees. So it was hot sleeping. We asked for it to be fixed but I think they have it set to not go lower than 72/73. Also, cleanliness of the room was lacking, nothing I couldn't remedy with a few lysol wipes (light switches, doors, bathroom and closet area walls)

Great stay! Hotel was clean, had a view of the Washington Monument, and was within comfortable and safe walking distance to the Mall, Museums and Wharf -which had a number of nice restaurants. Would recommend and stay there next time we visit Wash. D.C.

DC Hilton review

The room was very clean and comfortable. There were little things that were not good. TV audio would cut in and out on certain channels. The stopper in the bathroom sink was loose and would come off occasionally, the card reader for the room needed a battery replacement. These items were repaired quickly after alerting the front desk on our way out fir the day. Restaurant was good although the menu was a bit limited. Starbucks in the lobby was convenient and run very well. Convenient location with all Metro lines accessible from L'Enfant plaza below. Elevator in lobby took you downstairs. Overall, a nice stay.

Everything was great except for housekeeping services. We stayed 5 days and they didn't clean our room not once. I asked for service on the the 4th day and they said it was after their cut-off time ( it was 1pm).
