We were on the third floor and on the side of the train which made it difficult to get good nights sleep. We had adjoining rooms and our bathroom smelled like sewer. We had to keep our door closed and buy air fresher. Otherwise the hotel was centrally located and easy for transportation.

Thus was the best choice with a little one! They had a pool and it was only about a block to the Air and Space museum. There's a Starbucks on one corner and a McDonald's on the other. Food trucks were also set up very close. Staff was friendly and helpful except the life guard he was a punk.

This hotel is okay. The lobby and restaurant are clean and updated. The rooms are fairly updated, but dark. It’s in close proximity to many things so walking to the historical sites was fantastic. Downsides for us include: overnight parking is very expensive, the breakfast buffet is expensive and not worth the price, the air conditioner in the room is frigid, the beds aren’t all that comfortable, and the hotel is next to a train track so we heard the train all night.

If you’re looking for a hotel with loose electrical outlets,AC issues,non working key cards for elevators, rooms that aren’t cleaned, and fire alarms going off at midnight—look no further!The only thing this hotel has going for it is its location and the kindness of the staff. I’m beyond shocked that they’re allowed to operate rooms with such hazardous electrical conditions.Loose outlets are a fire risk! We had to buy a power strip just to charge our devices—only one outlet in the entire room worked properly.The elevator key cards refused to work as well. When we went to the front desk, they were already aware of the issue.There’s no way I was walking up eight floors after a long day.Then, at midnight, just as we were about to go to bed, the fire alarms went off.Thankfully, I no longer have little kids who would’ve been wide awake from that chaos. I felt terrible for the parents of young children who had to deal with that “fun” experience.The morning staff and maintenance crew were very nice. In fact, we got to know the maintenance team quite well since our AC kept resetting to over 75°F, and the fire alarm in our room repeatedly went off.To top it off,our room was overlooked by housekeeping. We had to go down to the front desk to request fresh towels ourselves.I don’t need daily room cleaning, but fresh towels and trash removal should be standard—especially after long,hot days exploring D.C. Aside from the hotel, we had an amazing time.We will back,just not to this hotel.

It was very helpful that the front desk found us two rooms that have communicating door in between. Both rooms were clean and spacious, except for few ink stains on the duvet cover and slightly unpleasant smell from the bathroom due to insufficient ventilation. Pillows are very comfortable to sleep on. Hot water comes quickly for shower. AC makes loud noise when it is working so I barely turned it on. Despite our rooms are on the eighth floor, the sound of the train and its horn can be loud enough to wake people up around 6:30am. Overall the experience is good given we just stayed for one night. Plus it’s super close to National Mall.

I was there for the museums so mostly out until I came back to rest. Overall the room is clean and comfy. Great location, easy access to and from highway and walking distance to and from museums and subway station. Some quick bite restaurants and parking garage are right at the block. The restaurant at the hotel is very good too. I will come back to this hotel myself.

It was clean and people was nice and helpful all the time. The location is perfect, specially because the train station is close. The only thing missing was laundry service.

This is a fantastic location to be in DC and walk to the majority of places you want to see
