The hotel needs some TLC. Two of the four elevators were out of order. There is masking tape on the seems of the carpet. The climate control in our room was not working and the duvet had what I believe to be gum on the top. There is not a fan in the bathroom therefore when you shower it steams up pretty good. The front desk help was fantastic and very kind. I love having a Starbucks in the lobby. The proximity to the train is convenient for sure.

The staff was AMAZING! Just really wish there was some kind of usb charger to buy or use in the room and the only 1 elevator working was very annoying, every channel on the tv was very blurry or pixelated and the volume on the remote didn’t work. The room was very clean and as expected.

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights between Christmas and Net Years. The staff were all extremely professional and very kind! The concierge was so friendly I felt like we had made a new friend. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The hotel was in the perfect Place to walk to the Smithsonian museums. The breakfast buffet had a large assortment of hot and cold foods each morning. Our suitcase broke in the flight to DC and it was no problem for me to have another one sent to the hotel from Amazon. I don't write reviews often but this hotel. Especially the staff, really stood out. I would highly recommend this hotel!
