The staff waswonderful, especially the young man taking care of the breakfast buffet. Working by himself,he kept the buffet running and looked out for everybodys needs all with a smile on his face. Property was very nice and the staff was wonderful! A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Website says there is a shuttle to the Capitol building. Upon inquiring, the front desk clerk informed us that that was old and the site hadn't been updated since they were previously under a different name. The area was also very noisy! There is a police station nearby, and the area clearly gets a lot of attention! Between honking and sirens, it was hard to get much rest.

This is a nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, which I appreciated. I did have a bit of trouble with the TV signal going in and out sometimes. The big problem is it is not convenient to the downtown DC area, so I spent more money on Uber/Lyft rides than I wanted to. It’s really not near a metro stop. Nor is it near the Supreme Court, which it says on their website. And I would not walk around there after dark. Lots of noise with motorcycles and cars revving their engines and playing their music extremely loud. It’s a rather run down, industrial neighborhood. But the hotel itself was very nice. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable.

Walking distance to the National Arboretum

Spacious room especially good for large groups of people with free breakfast. Walking distance to National Arboretum and National Bonsai and Penjing Museum. You need a car to get around other tourists spots. First floor rooms that are close to the street intersection are noisy. The shower faucet in my bathroom has cold/hot switches installed wrong, with cold side having the hot water.
