Location was excellent and the staff were helpful, kind and polite at all times. The bar opened up late and bartender was a little slow and looked very tired. The fire alarm went off at 11pm while we were sleeping and we evacuated but waited to re-enter but we did not have anyone from the hotel let anyone know it was clear to enter. Once the fire department left, everyone assumed it was clear. The staff seemed unclear on how to handle the fire alarm.

A wonderful stay

The hotel is beautiful. The hotel room was well stock with dishes, microwave, nice size dorm refrigerator, we kept a bottle of champagne on the door, stove , dishwasher, sink,plenty of cabinets and a dishwasher. The bathroom a nice size. They supply shampoo, soap,etc . The draw back the staff was short during the one night I use them at the bar. There was only two working. They made drinks and took food orders. One thing for sure they put their skills to work. They handled it with a smile on their faces. You can see how overwhelming it was but they didn’t miss a beat . They knew who was next , what drink was order or food and who pay what. My hats hoes off to them. They also had one person who served our orders. They were all pleasant. The front desk crew was sooo helpful and pleasant and always smiling and laughing. I felt like I made new friends. The house keepers kept the place looking good. I will book again if I revisit Washington DC

Located right on the wharf. Great restaurants, staff is very knowledgeable of the area, and a very clean, FREE shuttle picks up right outside the hotel. The shuttle takes you to the National Mall and back! The bar area is great, and beautiful views from their outdoor seating areas, along with fire pits.

Tons of places to eat. Hotel has an excellent view and free breakfast which is a plus. The entrance is kind of confusing as you have to go upstairs and doesn’t have a traditional lobby. Parking is super expensive. I think it was $60 plus/day. And if you leave in the middle of the day you'll have to pay again. I would not get a car while staying here. But everything is walking distance. We walked to the White House, Capitol Building, and other attractions.
