The front desk staff were amazing. I was so glad that our room was ready before noon without us even asking! Room fit all 5 of us comfortably, there was a fridge, but the microwave was downstairs (very clean!) Free breakfast was convenient. The best part was that it was a block from a lot of great restaurants, and the metro (it is 1 stop from Union Station)! There is also a CVS a block away where we could grab a few things we needed. We didn’t need parking, but keep in mind it is $65/day. This will definitely be our go to spot when visiting DC.

I won't be staying there again. The room and shower was not very clean . They don't explain to you that your deposit won't clear for 3 to 4 business days. It's NOT necessary to pay $75 for their valet parking. I found street parking easily

I should have taken photos. We had a room for 6, two queen beds and a pull out couch. There was no bedding or pillows for the couch, when requested I had to get them myself, but there weren’t even 3 pillows available, (needed 2 but I like to have xtra) the pillows were so old, blankets torn, stained, I won’t mention the mattress, I should have slept on the floor to be honest, I should have requested a refund or even a different room but when you’re traveling with kids like we were, it can be a little troublesome. I want to also mention that we got locked in the bathroom several times the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed and when you did close it and attempt to lock it, you would get trapped inside because you couldn’t unlock it the inside of the bathroom door did not have any door knob. The engineer came to the room and we asked and he said they were out of parts to fix the door. The hotel was definitely outdated. Wallpaper was peeling. You could tell there were holes that had been patched. The furniture was stained, torn and old. Just an FYI, there is no real bar or restaurant at this hotel as it is listed. And the pool itself is was closed, but we did see it and it was super tiny. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, for the price there are plenty of other decent places around I’m sure.

Overall the hotel is good. 5 minutes walk to train station and a lot of different stores and food places to eat. Room was good, service was good. It was nice that there was a breakfast downstairs, just not enough sitting area to enjoy it. Would definitely come back if I happen to come back to Washington DC again. We didnt use the parking because $65 plus tax a day was too much where as t minutes walk its half the price which we used. Great tip (download spothero app)
