We always stay here when in the DC area. The Union Market area is so cute with plenty of shops and restaurants. Hotel is close to the metro. Staff is nice. Extra bonus is the rooftop bar!

Awesome Hotel!

We had the most incredible stay! The staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. Both workers at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating with my family. We booked the family room. Accessibility is big for us since our daughter is disabled but they were very welcoming. The staff member Steven was kind enough to take our Family photo! We can’t wait to return!

1st, I wanna this hotel is beautiful and in an ***incredible*** location! There’s an incredible selection of snacks & drinks & a great fabulous breakfast restaurant down in the lobby and real hot spot restaurant/ bar on the roof with a breathtaking view of the Capitol and the city. And they have cooking classes that I caught a glimpse of while walking past the lobby that looked so cool. That said, there were a few downsides. 1. I have back issues and the mattress was like sleeping on the ground. They offered me an extra comforter that did help a little but their comforters are really thin. 2. The sound echoes, A LOT & the walls are really thin. Maybe bring some earplugs? 3. The room was about the size of a cruise ship room. I traveled alone so that wasn’t an issue for me but space was *limited*. I think that’s why I didn’t have a mini fridge. Which kinda stunk cause there’s so much yummy food in the area but I couldn’t take it to go cause there wasn’t anywhere to keep it Overall, I loved my stay cause location and amenities were my priority. But comfort was an issue

For warning, There are a lot of fees not mentioned when booking. The property charges you $100 fee per night (on top of cost and other fees) to compensate for bar and restaurant usage. Even if you don’t use it. To mention the restaurant and bar, the main eating place down stairs is closed, the one upstairs is closed for reservations until late in the evening. Now to get to the room, which was the size of a guest room in an Airbnb. Tiny. You can’t edit the temperature of the room (it’s stuck on 75). The bed is very uncomfortable and if they stick you in a basement room, good luck, because you will hear everything outside and upstairs due to being right under the lobby. Will not be back, probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. No accommodations.

Lovely boutique hotel. Union Market is right around the corner. Staff was friendly & helpful. Stayed for a week. Coffee shop in lobby. Didn't eat at the Treehouse Restaurant because I had plans every night but did go up to catch the view. Only about 15 minutes to get to monument/Smithsonian area. Take an Uber. Parking in DC is ugly.

Union Market Hip Hotel

The hotel was very close to the shops and restaurants in the Union Market neighborhood which is why I stayed there. The hotel was clean and modern with an artsy vibe. Everyone was nice an the check in was easy. It is not a full service hotel but for one night and one person it was well located and had everything I needed. The room was on the street side and was a little noisy so you may want to ask for a room away from the street if noise is a problem.
