Whether you're planning a ski weekend, a fall foliage getaway, a summer adventure, or simply time away with family and friends, our restored 1840s Vermont farmhouse is a welcoming home base in the heart of the Green Mountains.
Located between Stowe and Waterbury, the farmhouse offers easy access to some of Vermont's best skiing, mountain biking, hiking, paddling, restaurants, breweries, and family attractions. Spend the day exploring, then come home to a warm, comfortable space full of character and history.
Featuring exposed post-and-beam construction, wide plank floors, radiant heat, and large windows throughout, the farmhouse combines authentic Vermont charm with modern comforts including fast WiFi, air conditioning, streaming TV, and a fully equipped kitchen.
As one guest put it, "this is the coziest house in the world."

- Open kitchen and dining area
- Mudroom for skis, boots, and outdoor gear

One of our favorite features is the open kitchen, dining, and living space. Whether you're sharing a holiday meal, cooking after a day on the slopes, or simply spending time together, the farmhouse was made for gathering with family and friends.
When it's time to explore, you're perfectly positioned between Stowe and Waterbury. Waterbury is known for its outstanding restaurants, breweries, cider, and après-ski atmosphere, while Stowe offers even more dining, shopping, and outdoor recreation opportunities.
Outside, you'll find a large yard with plenty of room to relax, play, or enjoy a meal at the picnic table. From the yard you'll catch views of Mt. Mansfield, while several bedroom windows look toward Hunger Mountain and the Worcester Range.
Families especially appreciate the location. Hope Davey Park is just down the street and offers a playground, ball fields, disc golf, skate park, walking trails, and plenty of open space for kids to burn off energy.
The location makes it easy to enjoy many of the area's most popular attractions. Ben & Jerry's Factory and Cold Hollow Cider Mill are nearby, while Stowe Mountain Resort, Trapp Family Lodge, Waterbury Reservoir, and countless hiking and mountain biking opportunities are just a short drive away. Bolton Valley, Sugarbush, and Mad River Glen are also within reach for guests looking to explore more of Vermont's ski country.
Please note that this is a quiet residential neighborhood and is best suited for families, couples, and groups looking to enjoy the area. The property is not suitable for parties or large events.
As with many historic Vermont farmhouses, the staircase to the second floor is steeper and narrower than those found in most modern homes. Most guests have no trouble with it, but guests with mobility concerns may prefer the first-floor king bedroom.
Several upstairs rooms also feature the charming sloped ceilings typical of a historic farmhouse.
Children are very welcome. A high chair, travel crib and baby gates are available for guest use.
Please note that we have a strict no-pets policy.
We hope you'll enjoy the farmhouse as much as our family does and discover why we love sharing this special corner of Vermont.
