A Great Wausau Inn

The Stewart Inn was an outstanding place to stay. Randy, the owner of the inn, did an exceptional job hosting our stay here. He warmly greeted us at the door, and he graciously gave us an upgrade to our room at the beginning of our stay. The whole inn is beautifully decorated and furnished as it might have been during the early 1900's. All-in-all, it is a very comfortable and quiet place to stay and relax. In addition, it is in walking distance to some fine dining restaurants and tourist attractions. This is a great place to stay at if you plan on spending some time in the Wausau area.

Great stay, fabulous hosts!

I needed a place to stay for one night while I was in town for some classes. The Stewart Inn was a fantastic choice! The building itself is beautiful and full of character, and the service provided by the owners is top notch! I would recommend staying here! I missed out on the wine social in the evening as I was a later check in, but the breakfast experience was a fabulous 3 course meal, delicious and filling! I stayed in the Foster room, which I believe is the smaller of the rooms, but it was comfortable, cozy and full of charm. The steam shower was nice, and the in-room fireplace was a great touch to have while I was studying.
