For beach-lovers, this hideaway has its own colourful beach hut, Cuthbert's Cabin, on the stunning nearby beach.

Preacher's View is a well-equipped, light and airy detached house with three bedrooms (two double and one bunk room) and two bathrooms (one is en-suite) on the ground floor and a super, open-plan living space on the first floor with wonderful views. This sunny house is a relaxing retreat at the end of a busy day and enjoys the benefits of both off road parking and a private garden. A perfect spot for families, couples and friends around the year.

A short walk takes you right into the heart of this popular seaside town, where you will find everything you need to make your holiday complete - some excellent places to eat, interesting shops to browse and the chance of some crabbing or a day's sailing from the picturesque quay. Or just take a seat outside one of the many cafes and watch the world go by.

For beach lovers, Wells beach is a hard one to beat; golden sands framed by pine woods and a row of colourful beach huts stretch as far as the eye can see. Preacher's View comes with its own beautifully refurbished hut, Cuthbert's Cabin.

The house is in an excellent location, near to the High Street, the Co-op supermarket and an easy walk to the waterfront. And parking on the street behind the house was easy. The first floor sitting room was light and meant that we had good views and the kitchen was very well equipped. The great bonus was the use of the beach hut, a first for us. The beach hut is well equipped and is on a quieter part of the beach with lovely sea views but still an easy walk.
Stayed 7 nights in Jul 2025
