Texter Mountain Chalet

Our newly renovated chalet is the perfect destination for a relaxing time away from home. The house is tastefully decorated and designed with a combination of mid-century modern & a cozy cabin feel. We want this space to feel like a sanctuary for you.

The home has 3 private bedrooms, in addition to the basement room which has a pullout couch. All bedrooms have queen sized beds.

There are 2 full baths, one is a tub/shower combo and the other has a walk in shower. Both bathrooms have a single bowl vanity.

The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all adjoined for an open concept space. The living room has a smart tv and a gas fireplace, with views of the surrounding woods. Sliding doors lead out to the front porch where there is a table and chairs. The full sized kitchen is outfitted with all you need to cook your own meals.

The basement is partially finished, the finished space having the pullout sofa. There is a wood fireplace in the basement room, however we do NOT allow any indoor fires in the fireplace!
The washer & dryer are also located in the basement and are available for your usage.

We also have a strict no pet policy out of respect of future guests.

Please note that while there is a garage, we do not allow guests to park in it.

We provide linens and bath towels. Starter set of toilet paper, roll of paper towels, napkins. Please remember to bring anything else you should need during your stay. Thank you!

Stunning retreat in the mountains

We spent a week in this fairytale like cabin, and it was absolutely wonderful! Every detail had been thought of. Any appliance you might need once available. The furniture was incredibly comfortable and we spent many nights together in the living room relaxing after a fun day exploring the surrounding towns. The location was perfect, nestled between Hershey and Philadelphia, not too far from Lancaster and so many great places to eat food within 30 minutes. Can’t wait to visit again!

The Chalet was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space and we had the huge family room to gather. It was very clean and had extras to help until we could get to a store. We had a wonderful time.

Gorgeous and romantic mountain gem!

My family and I stayed at the chalet for Thanksgiving 2024. The chalet is gorgeous with a full kitchen with brand new appliances. We cooked and baked a full Thanksgiving meal looking at the woods outside. There is a romantic gas fireplace with comfortable couches to relax and spend great quality time together and a grill with a gorgeous deck overlooking nature. The property feels remote in the great sense that one can gaze at the stars at night and get the sense of being surrounded by nature while at the same time, there is a great supermarket only a 10 minute car ride away. The hostess was very helpful before and during the stay. There is a Christmas tree farm only a car ride away! What a wonderful place to enjoy the holidays or simply to reconnect with one’s self and one’s family! Highly recommended and thank you to Tonya!
