DC as you step through the gates of Stoupa's Paradise complex, they encounter the imposing two-storey stone house "Εstia". The covered with flagstone terraces as well as the large heavy stone-built outdoor stairs reminds you a little of the old Mani towers.
This two-story after the traditional architectural style of Mani erbautem building consists of two apartments.
The privileged apartment "Panorama" located on the first floor of the building can accommodate up to 4 people. It is surrounded by terraces with sea views and spectacular sunsets. The views of the mountains of Taygetos with the traditional villages is unique. The apartment has a large bedroom with private bathroom with shower and has access to the private terrace overlooking the sea, just like on a balcony with mountain view. Next door is a large living room with fully equipped kitchenette and two single beds that serve as sofas. This room also has a private bathroom with shower and access to the large front porch with beautiful views of Stoupa, the sea and on the hill where once stood the fortification of the castle of Stoupa. These two rooms can both be used from each other independent of two friendly couples there are equipped with separate bathroom and entrance.

Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Und hat es während des Aufenthalts an nichts gefehlt

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in West-Mani mit Abstrichen
Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Haus liegt in einem schönen und sehr gepflegten Garten (Obst durften wir nach Belieben pflücken), das Grundstück selbst in einem Olivenhain. Die Wohnung im ersten Stock bietet drei Terrrassen, so dass man sich je nach Wind und Sonne eine angenehme aussuchen kann mit Blick auf Meer und Berge. Das Äußere ist also sehr schön. Das Innere ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Küche ist primitiv. Es ist zwar alles vorhanden, aber nur eine kleine Abstellfläche für die Kaffeemaschine und den Toaster, die aber nur getrennt bedient werden können, weil nur eine Steckdose vorhanden ist. 2-Platten-Herd. Arbeitsfläche ist das Wasserablaufblech der Spüle, Geschirr muss daher vorher auf den Tisch gestellt werden. Winziger Esstisch (etwa 40x60cm), drei harte Stühle mit Korbbespannung. In der Küche stehen noch zwei Einzelbetten. Weder hier noch im geräumigen Schlafzimmer irgendein Sessel, auf dem man sich zum Lesen zurückziehen oder die Stereoanlage nutzen oder fernsehen könnte. Letzteres ist nur möglich, wenn man sich aufs Bett setzt oder legt. Da es bei unserem Aufenthalt draußen sehr kalt war, verbrachten wir die Abende zum Lesen auf den Küchenstühlen, was nicht sehr komfortabel war. Die Gastgeber stellten uns einen Heizradiator zur Verfügung, mit dem es angenehm warm wurde (im unbeheizten Schlafzimmer 14°C, auf Beheizung mit der Klimaanlage verzichteten wir aus Umweltgründen). Zwei Badezimmer mit schlichter Ausstattung (Duschwanne 60x60cm). Fazit: Schönes Objekt, für 5 Sterne muss aber noch etwas getan werden.
