Magda’s House is one of the two rental stone houses on a plot of 2000 m2. It is a house of more than 200 m2 in three levels with a pool, a beautiful garden and a breathtaking sea view. The house is built in a traditional way in order to fit into the natural surroundings. If you want full privacy in the garden and the pool you could come with your friends and rent both Magda' s house and Afrodite' s house!
It is located at the village of Megali Mantinia on the mountain, 15 km from Kalamata and 3 km from the beach Santova. Megali Mantinia is a quiet place with many taverns in a walking distance.
Magda’s house has a fully equipped kitchen with all facilities (dish washer, fridge, oven) and a large dining room. There is a spacious living room with flat 46’’ TV, free satellite channels and wireless internet*. Magda’ s house has 5 terraces, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and on the ground floor there is a ping pong table. There is air- condition in the living room and in two bedrooms. On the basement there are fαns.
In the garden there is a traditional wood fired oven, bbq and there is a covered parking. Around the pool there are sun loungers to relax and enjoy the sun. All these facilities are shared with Afrodite's house.
Magda's and Afrodite's houses have a party wall and their common terraces are seperated with special wooden seperators.

Wonderful house, amazing views!
Magda's house is a beautiful place with amazing views! The host is extremely friendly and helpful! New construction, nice pool, the accommodations were perfect! The house is very well stocked, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. Very quiet place, the view of the sunset from the pool is unforgettable!

Vi havde otte vidunderlige dage i Magdas hus. Huset er beliggende ganske som beskrevet i annoncen med en fantastisk udsigt over vandet og solnedgangen. Alt fungerede som beskrevet i annoncen. Magda er en fantastisk sød og imødekommen vært - yderst gæstfri. Vi vil helt sikkert komme igen - men næste gang flyver vi nok direkte til Kalamata 😁 kærlig hilsen Anna Emil Rikke og Henrik

Très belle maison mitoyenne avec piscine commune
Le corps de bâtiment principal (visible sur les photos) est en fait l'accolement de deux locations identiques mitoyennes (pour 8 personnes chacune) communiquant par une grande terrasse séparée par un claustra ajouré en bois. La vue est magnifique sur la baie; les couchers de soleil sur la montagne magiques. La piscine de 7,5 m sur 4 m est très agréable mais a partager avec les voisins (comme tous les extérieurs, barbecue, four à bois...). La seconde semaine passée dans la maison de Magda (la maison d'aphrodite n'était pas louée) fut moins bruyante et donc plus reposante! Tout dépend donc des voisins, de leurs horaires de lever et de coucher et surtout de l'énergie de leurs enfants ! (et de leur chien!). L'ensemble serait idéal pour deux familles assez nombreuses voulant partager leur lieu de villégiature.
Les propriétaires (deux soeurs: Aphrodite et Magda) sont charmantes et très présentes (trop?). Elle avaient prévu de un bon petit déjeuner pour le lendemain. Elles s'occupent d'arroser le jardin et de nettoyer la piscine tous les deux jours (à l'improviste).
A noter que le rez de jardin est constitué d'une seule grande pièce unique où sont "installé" 2 lits simples et 1 lit double (et une table de ping pong). A l'étage deux chambres à lit double et une salle de bain.
La wifi est inconstante et le signal limité par un routeur; là encore, lorsque la maison voisine était occupée, il était quasiment illusoire de vouloir se connecter durablement.
Grande télé à écran plat dans le séjour pour regarder TV5 monde !
La région de Kalamata (messenie) est très belle mais très montagneuse et les déplacements sont donc longs et lents. Il n'y a pas grande activité touristique ni historique (sauf méssène) à proximité. Nombreuses plages (galets et parfois sable) à quelques dizaine de kilomètre..
Au final, impression mitigé mais avons passée de bonne vacances.
