While the staff that checked me in were very pleasant, the experience went downhill after a bug crawled across my pillow at night. I took a picture of it, compared the picture to an online photo of bed bugs and showed it to the manager on night duty. He said it looked like a bed bug to him. He said he would refund my room to Expedia. Since it was 12:30am and I explained I am an epileptic (I showed him my medical alert bracelet, etc.) and cannot drive in the dark, the manager said he would give me a different room complimentary. The only problem I have with the rest of my stay occurred the next morning. When I asked the hotel staff if they want a picture of the bedbug, they became very confrontational, called me rude, argumentative and other derogatory names. I responded each time saying my intention was to just let them see the picture of the bed bug and even offered to give it to them for their records. They refused and continued to insult me.
