The hotel is older but clean. The staff was friendly. The morning breakfast was simple but good. A special shout out to Helena who made sure the breakfast area was stocked and kept clean. She greeted everyone and was super sweet. She even helped us figure out what animal we saw in Yellowstone from a picture. She was a consistent friendly face every morning!

We enjoyed our time in Yellowstone + the central location, and our bed was comfortable. Otherwise, the hotel and rooms are fairly outdated, and there was some of the previous stayers’ trash in our can after moving our things in. The layout leaves something to be desired as well, but it did the trick, especially for the price.

Dog friendly, yeah, and by friendly I mean it is only 25 dollars per night. This is a fairly cool looking place both inside and out. It is vintage for the area. I have to say, however, they tuned the lobby TV to Fox "news" which is an entertainment channel 24 hours per day. I didn't ask them to change it, but it kept me from hanging out in the lobby. There is a fireplace in the lobby, but it is gas fed, and not particularly pretty. The restaurant was completely closed, bummer, but all of the town for restaurants and grocery is within easy walking distance. Breakfast was average, - milk is available for coffee in the breakfast room, but otherwise you will be using the powdered stuff. The room was fine, nothing special, and there was nothing bad about the room layout (King). We were on the ground floor, so the 5:30 am movement above us sounded like stomping and the water pipes are really loud. It was an "off season" time of year in the area, but we were still "bothered" by those other guest noises. The staff was friendly and helpful. Might make sense to ask for a 2nd floor room.

Room was tiny, bathroom even smaller, very tired and needs a revamp. Building is old and creaky. Expedia pictures make it look cosy, but it’s not really, bit disappointing compared to the pictures. Breakfast included was a sorry selection of bread, cereals, muffins, etc, nothing hot or cooked. Saying that, the staff were very friendly and if you’re just after a bed to then go off to Yellowstone National Park, it was a good location. The town of West Yellowstone was quite cute, with plenty of restaurants, Yellowstone merchandise and petrol stations. Hope that helps!

We liked that it was close to everything. The staff was all nice and courteous. It was quiet and we were thankful the TV worked. As for cleanliness maybe could use a deep scrubbing especially the base boards behind the bed and maybe try using a steam mop on the bathroom floor . The bed was awful it was on a spring metal bed frame so every time you got up it sounded like springs were going to break through ha, ha thankfully it didn’t happen.

The only reasons two stars were given was because the staff was excellent and the mattress was comfortable. I want to believe it was a wonderful place to stay back in its glory days. The bathroom was only a touch bigger than a phone booth and had not been properly cleaned for at least a couple years. The shower curtain was stained and there was enough counter space for a tooth brush and a bar of soap. The rest of the building (lobby etc) was decent, making going into the room even worse.

Amazing

Everyone was very kind, the guy who was cleaning the was very friendly. The two guys that where in the front desk where also beyond kind. The second guy was very kind towards our kids. Everyone there was super friendly. The place was unique. Overall everything was beyond excellent and beyond our expectations. We hope to come back and stay here again. Thank you everyone for making our stay this wonderful.

Friendly staff, right downtown West Yellowstone - within walking distance of shops, restaurants, etc. (4-5 blocks). Would stay here again and already recommended this place to someone.

The hotel had amazing decor in the lobby but that was about it. As soon as we entered our room we saw dead flies on the floor near the heater area. Strands of hair on the bed and in the bathroom. A small insect was crawling on the bed. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

An older hotel, but it is very clean. Close to everything. 8 minutes to Yellowstone entrance. Do NOT eat at the Pizza and sandwich place across the street. It is awful. Try the Buffalo Bar and the Pancake House.
