In addition to this, it is only a 5-minute walk into Whitby with its many bars, restaurants and attractions like Whitby Abbey and the harbour for boat trips. It is also in easy reach of Runswick Bay, and the quaint smuggler’s coves of Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes. Take the steam train across the North York Moors through ’Heartbeat’ country to Pickering. Fishing and golf can be found nearby.

We’ve had a wonderful four days in sea glimpse. A wonderfully clean and well appointed apartment in a quite location but only a stones throw from the hustle and bustle. Beautifully furnished and with everything you need for a short break. We took my parents and little girl with us and the apartment didn’t feel too cramped for us all. Both bedrooms are really nicely done out and the beds are really comfortable. A newly done up bathroom and cosy lounge/kitchen too. Very warm in the cooler nights we have had. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back next year. Thanks for a lovely holiday

The lift is very useful for those of us who have difficulty with stairs.

The lift is very useful for those of us who have difficulty with stairs.However it can prove difficult trying to move luggage and provisions when trying to access and exit the lift. The fire doors are both large and heavy and controlled by strong springs. I accept these are necessary but the 2 lobby areas are quite confined.Would not stop us from coming again

Perfect location on West cliff. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. We never needed to use the lift because it was just 2 easy flights of stairs to get to the flat. Was lovely to sit at the bay window and looking at the sea. We hope to return. Thank you very much
