Lovely stay at the Saltmoore. Food was great, breakfast was excellent. However didn't think the Spa was up to much. Quite small compared to similar I've been in. The staff were what made this place. Very friendly. The rooms were very clean and had a good standard.

The room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly . Breakfast was good but the evening meals ( both pizza and the main restaurant were disappointing and a bit expensive for what we got ) . Lovely spa stay. Rooms clean and well kept. 2 restaurants, both a bit pricy for the quality of the food. Food was good, but not so good I'd be back for the food alone at that price. Spa treatments were excellent, but again definitely on the higher side. If you don't book directly with the hotel they add an extra £45 per person to use the spa for 2 hours!! It is a great place, but unfortunately I feel like they're trying to claim back the money they have invested into the hotel too hard and too quickly. It's a bit obvious with the high price points and extra charges which makes it all a little less appealing for me to return. Also if i'm paying £18 for a cocktail, I don't expect the bartender to tell me he has never made a margarita before!

Perfect stay. Location wonderful, Sansend is a very special favourite place. Hotel and grounds a real pleasure, staff pleasant and efficient, food very good, facial a real treat.
