No one was at the front desk at check-in. The bathrooms were terrible with many broken parts: sink drain plug broken, faucet handles broken, toilet paper roll holder broken, bathtub not caulked and moldy. It was very loud at night, and it seemed like there were people living there and smoking weed. Plus, out Mon-smoking room definitely smelled of smoke. Worst of all, my six year old daughter left her beloved vintage care bear in her room under the covers and we didn’t discover the loss until the following night at bedtime in PA. When I called the hotel the next morning, it was obvious they couldn’t care less. They wouldn’t even look for it. When I asked for the manager, he wouldn’t talk to me, and he also didn’t return my email. Absolutely appalling customer service. I’ve left maybe two things at hotels over the past 30 years of travel, and they were both found by staff, and then mailed to me; in one case they mailed my blazer internationally. I didn’t even have to contact these other hotels; they contacted me to let me know they found the items before I even knew they were missing. Not at this shabby establishment!

Check in was a nightmare on Saturday 6/21/25. They had someone else sign our reservation paperwork and gave away the deluxe room to someone else. They put us in a room that was blocked for maintenance issues. When I checked out I was told that management would contact me about the price difference between a deluxe room and the room they gave with maintenance issues but I was not contacted by the management. I was not compensated for the delay in check-in or for the room down grade. I would not stay here again.

Like: for a small room (1 King bed) there was a surprising amount of storage and places to sit, including a desk and bench. Dislike: the bedding was very light. If it had been winter, I’m not sure it would have been warm enough.

Old smelly and not worth the money

I tried to check in online. I read 4 places that they took dogs and the fee was the same on very site. When I went to check in online on the site they sent me to, it said "we do not take pets and the fee is very high if you bring one". I called the hotel. They assured me the fee was as indicated online. I got to the hotel and checked in and they charged me twice the pet rate.??She said if I did not complete my online check in, the dog fee at the hotel was twice as much. It turns out during my text to the hotel earlier was an IT bot. Anyway, I paid the higher amount and they did later refund back to the posted rate. of it after I complained. My room smelled like pot but it took the front desk girl so long to check me in that I did not go to change rooms. The air old window conditioner only made it worse so I opened the windows. The hotel is very old and run down and the stairs to the 2nd floor are the type in a fire stairway - old and metal. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this was one of the worst. The wifi did not make it to my room..I slept in my clothes. It DID have a refrigerator and the bathroom shower was recently upgraded.
