Arrived an hour and a half after check-in time and they sent us to our room…which had still not been cleaned from the prior occupants! Then said they would upgrade us to compensate us. Ok…then said oops we don’t have capacity to upgrade you. Sorry, you’ll have to wait while we clean your room. Really?!! Took them another 40 minutes to get this done while we sat with our bags in the dining area. Terrible start to our stay! Additionally, they are in the middle of a remodel with boxes and random stuff everywhere. Not impressed. I expected better accommodations at this hotel.

The staff was very friendly. It was a clean and nice hotel. There is some construction but I knew that before staying and it didn’t bother us. The are doing a lot of updating which is nice. We did have a hiccup with being put in a room other than what I booked through Expedia but they were able to refund the difference and get us in the room we originally booked for a couple nights. I would just call and make sure they get the same info as what you book on Expedia before your stay so that you know for sure you are getting the right room. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lodge right on the whitefish river. Very clean and staff is super nice. Super close to Downtown whitefish and the area has all the stores you might need.

Enjoyable stay

We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay here. They are in the process of renovating but that didn’t interfere with our stay. Conveniently located near downtown and within walking distance. We did not use much of the amenities but they have kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes on site for guests to use. Breakfast was good; we would have like more choices for beverages (e.g. juice). Can’t wait for their bar area to open!

We arrived on a train that was running 2 hours behind. The property does not offer transportation after 11 PM so we walked from the station to the hotel at 11:30 at night with luggage and back packs. The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly, gave us a room the was not cleaned. Finally got a clean room and woke up to workers on our balcony at 7:00 Am working and playing music. It is a beuatiful place but not very travel friendly.

Good thing this is being renovated.

So, there were cherrios on yhe floor of our room, and the hot tub was very very dirty. It was not cleaned in the 3 nights, 4 days we were there. Dont bother paying more for a river view, its really just a road view. So much npise in the hallways. And we were leaving as the cleaning crew was cleaning. We removed the do not disturb sign, but they didnt clean our room. Really expensive for what it is.

I think this hotel will be very nice by July 2025. Unfortunately, they were still doing renovations when we arrived in mid June and the hotel was a mess. When we booked the renovations were supposed to be complete. It was very disappointing to see that it was not ready when we arrived. Positives: *All canoes and paddle boards are great. The river is so clear and it is lovely to spend a morning on the water. *The room was very comfortable with a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave, which I had to utilize for breakfast. * The location is so close to downtown and there is a nice walk path to get there easily. *The staff is friendly *There are free laundry facilities *Cookies in the afternoon Negatives *Besides the mess and noise of the renovations, the hotel breakfast is very basic. *The air conditioner in my room was incredibly loud. Luckily, we kept it off and slept the screen door open. If it wasn't cool outside, we would have had to ask for another room. *Housekeeping did not consistently clean the room. Overall, I would consider staying here again despite a not great experience.

What is the opposite of “ the picture doesn’t do it justice “ ? The facility should be nice, when it’s done. I saw some reviews saying it was under construction but still comfortable and had great beds. Not 100% of the rooms. My bed sagged such that I rolled to the middle. Walking to the room heightens the sense of foreboding. The room numbers were 1” long tags at the handle, the baseboards sometimes present but not attached, drywall finished by someone without experience. Presumably this will be renovated. I understand the desire or need to keep cash flowing while work continues, but price accordingly and stay on top of service. The dynamic pricing dropped 40% in 2 days!

The breakfast the first morning (Friday)was poor and the pool and hot tub were both in need of a cleaning. Rooms were quiet and comfortable

It’s in a nice location. Under construction. We checked in and walked into a dirty room that had not been cleaned yet, so we were moved to the basement. We lost our balcony with a view and gained the pool with walk out access. The pool was nice, some parts were inside and was heated. Hot tub, stairs to the river and kayaks. A lot of the rooms are being worked on….especially in the basement level “P”. Continental breakfast was the across the hall from us.Overall nice stay.

Reasonably Priced

Positives: The hotel was reasonably priced, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Moreover, every employee that I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. Negatives: The wifi was really poor, making it difficult to even watch sports or movies on my laptop. The hotel is pretty old and is in need of renovation.
