The Space:

Enjoy the peace & quiet in your own private log Cabin which is just a few doors down from the beach with your own private entrance, lots of outside space, seating and facilities available including games, boards and local recommendations.



The Cabin has a large king size bed (metal frame) with memory foam mattress, toppers and quality linens, pillows and plenty of towels.



There is also a sofabed from Made (double) available for one additional adult guest or 2 small children. There is a £20 charge per person for the sofabed and after 2 people for extra linens & towels which I will confirm on booking depending on how many in your group.



We allow well behaved dogs and there is an additional £19 fee per pet at the time of booking (add Pet Fee) and the garden is private and secure for them to be off lead. Bring your usual bedding/crate as we ask dogs not to be allowed on the bedding.



There is plenty of space to roam on the pebble beach and we can lend you beach chairs, boogie boards, beach shoes and even a beach trolley.



A welcome basket is included with breakfast items (jam and cereal only)



If you are staying for a few days, you might like to request additional food shop that can be arranged and put into the Cabin for your arrival and charged to your bill especially if arriving by train or bring supplies with you (we have a small under counter fridge and one shelf has a freezer compartment).



The outside area is totally private for Cabin guests and has a choice of comfortable chairs and tables.



You can also hire the bikes for £20 per visit per person - please let me know if you would like info on this.

Guest Access:

The Cabin is a self-contained log cabin studio designed to be wheelchair friendly, with step-free access and space throughout. It is built to a very high standard, professionally insulated, heated and air conditioned. I have a secure lock box for the keys for self check-in at a time that suits you from 4pm onwards. Once checked in, we leave you in peace to enjoy your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Seasalter is to the east of Whitstable and is a 30-40 minute beach walk to Whitstable town centre or 5-10 mins by car.



We are just 1 mile from the Sportsman Pub (Michelin star restaurant) in the other direction but you need to book here well in advance.



I recommend the wealth of other wonderful local restaurants in the area and we can help you find local take away and delivery services.



Getting Around:

10 mins by car from Whitstable train station and local bus services are available.



30-40 mins beach walk to Whitstable town centre.



Canterbury 6 miles away or visit Faversham, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate.



London is 80-90 mins by train.



Other Things to Note:

🏡 HOUSE RULES



No Parties: The Cabin is located on a private residential estate, so parties are strictly prohibited. Please be considerate of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, particularly after 9pm.



No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. A standard charge of £500 will be applied if evidence of smoking is found, to cover deep cleaning and any resulting damage.



🚗 PARKING



The property has free parking for 2 to 3 cars alongside the owner's fence at 2 Hodgson Road.



🧹 LONG-STAY CLEANING



For stays longer than 14 nights, additional cleaning can be arranged every 14 nights at the guest's expense. This includes refreshing the property, changing bed linen and towels, and restocking consumables.

🧶 LINEN & TOWEL CARE



Please help us keep the linen and towels in excellent condition for all guests.



We kindly ask that towels are not used for removing make-up or cleaning spills, and that food and drinks are kept away from beds where possible.



If bed linen or towels are excessively stained or damaged beyond normal use and cannot be professionally cleaned, the cost of replacement may be charged.



If an accident happens during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help.



🍳 BREAKFAST ITEMS



Breakfast items including cereal, bread and eggs are provided. Eggs are provided for you to cook yourself.



🔥 BBQ



A BBQ and charcoal can be arranged for £20 per visit. Please contact us in advance if you'd like to use this service.



🏖️ BEACH EQUIPMENT



Beach shoes, mini boards, a beach trolley and beach chairs may be available to borrow during your stay. Please contact us if you'd like to enquire about availability.



🌿 PRIVATE OUTDOOR SPACE



The Cabin has a private outdoor space for guests, including reclining chairs, comfortable chairs, a sofa, tables and a parasol.
