When we’re in Wichita, Kansas this is our hotel we always book at. Some of the areas of the building is outdated but overall is clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and wonderful variety breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was good, hot coffee, fresh egg omelettes, Hôtel is spacious & neat. The upper floor, 5th, gets blasted with summer heat & it took a long time for the room to cool down. We closed the shades, & would not let housekeeping in, to keep the heat out. Ask for a lower floor, opposite side of the street.

Everything in this hotel was beautiful. However, the elevator, doors, and the bathroom were extremely narrow. The impression I had while reading the description was that there was a stove top and dishes for use in the hotel room. Those items such as a hot plate, or dishes had to be checked out at the front deak. The dishes I was given were paper plates and the combos of plastic silverware that you get at a truck stop. No bowls to cook or glassware to microwave food. When I went breakfast the next AM, the table I sat at had ants from the chair to the table. Overall, the experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. As a solo travel at this point, this was not an ideal spot.

We always have a wonderful experience in this hotel. Felipe was really good doing an upgrade in our room because we were pretty hot. Christina cooks the best breakfast ever and Farías is the best front end host. We will come back in three months.

Pics are very deceptive

The pictures make this look like a great place to stay. We stayed two nights and paid $350. It’s not worth it. The building is old and worn. It has some updates. The elevator lights do not work. It was very dirty inside of it. Sofa had stains. Housekeeping came and took the towels, washcloths and floor towel. When I asked the front desk about getting more, he showed me a sign about they only clean on certain days. I tried to explain to him that they took everything and didn’t give us anything back. The parking lot lights are very bright and shine in. Some tv channels didn’t work. We didn’t even go to breakfast. I’ll stay elsewhere next visit.

I got what I paid for

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The guys in the afternoon were chatty while they checked me in and accommodated my request for a higher floor. Shelby upgraded my room when we returned late at night and found our air conditioner was not working. The hotel is older and has gone through an upgrade however, the upgrade was a bit shabby. I pushed my shoes out of the way and a floorboard fell off. The curtains were not wide enough to blackout the light and there is a floodlight above each window on the upper floor so my room was still light up when the lights were off in the room. One of two elevators was out of order and the functioning elevator didn't feel taken care of. The lights didn't work above the door or on the wall panel so you didn't know which floor you were going to or moving towards. Breakfast was blah. There were scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage along with a waffle maker, some mini muffins and bread and two cereals. The flavor wasn't great for the hot items, and I don't eat gluten, so we grabbed breakfast elsewhere.

We had to place tape over the peep hole since it was gone. The toilet needed adjusted after every 3rd flush. We had an accident and needed clean bedding. It seemed to be an inconvenience, we had to go to the front desk to get the comforter after it was washed bc they had no extras. The food was meh, sauage and potatoes cold. All and all, we were hugely disappointed in our experience. The night attendant was the BEST!! He was helpful and kind.
