Look forward to a few peaceful days in nature!
The former granary is over 300 years old and has been a holiday home for many years; it’s lovingly maintained and welcomes every guest.
It stands on the grounds of an old farmstead, which is also home to two gentle donkeys and a lively dog.
For this reason, other pets are not allowed here. The old houses and oak trees all around, along with the expansive park, create a very idyllic setting and are perfect for short walks.
You can reach us via the A (approx. 45 min), A2 (approx. 35 min), and B214 (approx. 25 min). Follow the signs to Celle and then to Wienhausen.
The holiday home is a good 100 square metres in size and spread over three floors. In addition to two fully equipped bathrooms, you’ll find three bedrooms with a total of seven beds. A cot is available.
We do not provide towels.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious living and dining area. In addition to the basic amenities, the kitchen also has a bread machine. The only thing you won’t find here is a dishwasher. Thanks to the small windows and the building’s design, it doesn’t get too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. Central heating is installed. The atmosphere here is truly special.
You can park your car in the designated parking spaces right next to the granary. You’ll also find a large garden with a swing, sandpit, and trampoline. For barbecues, there’s a large grill, two big oak benches, and a large table. In the garden shed—where you’ll also find go-karts, Bobby Cars, and similar toys—there’s always firewood for the fire pit, so you can spend your evenings outdoors even in winter. If you prefer to stay indoors, a TV and free Wi-Fi are available.
The village itself is quiet yet centrally located and offers a great starting point for exploring the surrounding area. The historic royal seat of Celle is just under half an hour away by car and has something interesting to offer in any weather, such as a swimming pool, the Bomann Museum, sightseeing tours, or guided city tours, to name just a few examples.
Celle Castle and the town church are also worth a visit. You can enjoy delicious meals at well-known cafés and restaurants serving international cuisine.
Even closer than Celle is the small town of Wienhausen, home to the oldest monastery. You can take a bike ride there and relax at the ice cream parlour. An outdoor pool and a restaurant are just two kilometres from the Kornspeicher. Furthermore, Heidepark and Serengetipark are also within easy reach.
If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help.
We look forward to your visit!
