The interesting, traditional market town of Cockermouth with its William Wordsworth connection and the popular, bustling lakeside town of Keswick are both about a 20 minute drive. The border city of Carlisle is a few minutes further along with Hadrian’s Wall and Scotland. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile.
